Independent Wrestling FederationThanksgiving Thunder Weekend Live Events November 19-20: Commissioner Ross' Unit of Knight, Outlaw, Donavan & Blake in Action!

(West Paterson, NJ)- The Independent Wrestling Federation kicks off the holiday season with a bang as live action returns with Thanksgiving Thunder Weekend on Saturday, November 19, 7:30 pm and Sunday, November 20, 3:30 pm at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ. All four men of Commissioner Rich Ross' new stable will be defending their championships as Ross continues his dominance as wrestling's premiere manager.

On November 19th and 20th, four-time IWF Heavyweight Champion Kevin Knight, three-time IWF Tag Team Champions Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake, and IWF American Champion Outlaw Shane O'Brien will see action. Knight won the heavyweight crown with a controversial win over Damian Adams on October 22, 2005, while on the same evening Donavan and Blake took the tag straps from Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride. O'Brien captured the American Title from Biggs on March 25, 2005.

United by a common theme, with Knight claiming to be the greatest IWF Heavyweight Champion, the Outlaw claiming to be the greatest American Champion, and Donavan and Blake claiming to be the greatest Tag Team Champions, Ross has moved off the sidelines and bonded this unlikely unit together to reign supreme.

All the IWF stars and Camp IWF Wrestling School standouts will be in action on both November 19th and 20th. Also scheduled to appear throughout the weekend are former tag champions Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride, former IWF Champion BoneCrusher Fred Sampson, IWF Junior Champion Dangerous Dan McGuire, Tony Torres, Antonio Rivera, Sean Royal, Jana, Nick Sabre, Robby Morrison, Bryan Harley, Jasin Karloff, Justin Corino, Francis Flores, Matt Bennett, BPA Barry and more.

LIVE EVENT RECAP:

Damian Adams Drops IWF Title to Kevin Knight...Heads to OVW:
Donavan & Blake Claim Tag Titles as Rich Ross Reigns Supreme at Evil Intentions

(West Paterson, NJ)- A new Heavyweight Champion and new Tag Team Champions were crowned at the Independent Wrestling Federation's Evil Intentions Weekend on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23, 2005, at IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ. Here's a complete recap of the historic events.

Day one on October 22 saw Kevin Knight defeat IWF Heavyweight Champion Damian Adams to win the title and become a four-time champion. Adams had won the gold on August 28, 2005. The win marks the first time in two-and-a-half years Knight has held the title.

It was announced after the event that Damian would be heading to the WWE's Developmental Training System OVW next month in Kentucky. Adams began training at the Camp IWF Wrestling School in July 2000 and graduated from the program in May 2001. He is a triple-crown winner, having held the IWF Heavyweight, American and Tag Team Titles.

Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake with Commissioner Rich Ross defeated IWF Tag Team Champions Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride with Jana to win the titles and become three-time tag champions. Biggs and Stride had won the gold on August 28, 2005, from Latin Revolution.

In a special challenge match, IWF American Champion Outlaw Shane O'Brien defeated Sean Royal to retain the title, with the use of his forearm cast. With the American Title defense, Knight's Heavyweight Title win, and Donavan and Blake's Tag Title win, Commissioner Ross has become the most powerful manager in wrestling controlling all the major championships in the IWF.

In a tag team upset, the rookie duo of Justin Corino and Francis Flores upended Tony Torres and Antonio Rivera of Latin Revolution. After the bout however, Torres and Rivera took their frustrations out on Corino and Flores and assaulted the victors.

In a Triple Threat Elimination Match, Nick Sabre defeated Robby Morrison and Jasin Karloff. Karloff was eliminated first, then Sabre pinned Morrison.

Evil Intentions day two on October 23 saw Damian Adams, Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride gain a measure of revenge with a win over Kevin Knight, Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake in a Six-Man Tag Team Match when Adams made Knight submit to the Damian-Death-Lock. It was Adams' last IWF match before heading to OVW.

With IWF American Champion Shane O'Brien feeling confident after defending his title the prior evening in an open challenge, he issued another open challenge, this time to two opponents. However, the Outlaw retained the title in a Triple Threat Elimination Match against BoneCrusher Fred Sampson and Sean Royal. Sampson eliminated Royal, then SOB took the highroad and was counted-out rather than tangle with his former partner.

In singles action, Tony Torres defeated Justin Corino after an implant-DDT, while Francis Flores pulled off another upset against Antonio Rivera.

In tag team action, Nick Sabre and Michael Durnin defeated Robby Morrison and Bryan Harley with Rick Cataldo. For more details, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.
