IWF's Shawn Donavan & Fred Sampson Box with Vito on WWE SmackDown:

(BROOKLYN, NY)- Camp IWF Wrestling School graduates Shawn Donavan and BoneCrusher Fred Sampson sparred with Vito on WWE SmackDown last week at Gleason's Boxing Gym in Brooklyn, NY.

Donavan is a former Independent Wrestling Federation American & Tag Team Champion, and this marks his third WWE booking having also appeared in the WWE Survivor Series football-themed TV commercial in November 2003.  Sampson is a former IWF Heavyweight Champion and has wrestled for WWE on numerous occasions.
 
The Camp IWF Wrestling School in West Paterson, NJ, has enjoyed a beneficial working relationship with WWE since its inception in 1999, with many top graduates appearing regularly over the years on WWE programming and live events.

(AdWeek.com)- The Burger King television commercial starring Independent Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion Kevin Knight as the Big Buckin’ Chicken continues to get rave reviews.  Recently, AdWeek Magazine and AdWeek.com proclaimed the BK spot “Best Advertising Campaign/Best Advertisement” for the month of April 2006.

The spot features grainy footage of a cowboy riding a giant chicken in a rodeo ring.  The song lyrics tell us, "Big, buckin' chicken.  Your are big and you are chicken."  The spot promotes Burger King's new Tendercrisp Cheesy Bacon Sandwich.  "The only way to beat it is to eat it."
