FIERRO: JAMIE NOBLE COULD BECOME A BREAKOUT STAR
I have really been enjoying the William Regal/Jamie Noble/Layla soap opera that WWE has been doing lately. I've always been a fan of Noble's work. A lot of the guys out there today are great workers but only average talkers . Some are awesome talkers and only average workers. Jamie Noble has both. I hope WWE realizes this.
WWE has the chance to elevate Jamie Noble with his current storyline with William Regal. There is no question that Regal is one of the best ever in this business and he's over with the WWE audience as a heel. I really think that Regal could not only elevate Noble by working this program with him, but get him over as a babyface with the audience at the same time.
I recently read that WWE is going to begin slowing their storylines down and tell more of a story. This is the perfect program for that. They can easily get six months out of Jamie Noble vs. William Regal. Here is some of the things they can do:
1) Return the King of the Ring gimmick to Regal and have him come out with the cape and crown. Go all the way with the King gimmick, it fits Regal perfectly. Have him make Layla his Queen.
2) They can do a match where if Noble wins, he gets Layla for 30 days. If Regal wins, Noble has to kiss Regal's ass. Noble can get the win and get Layla's services for 30 days. Regal attacks him after the match and forces him to kiss his ass. This puts the heat right back on Regal and their program.
3) Noble does a months worth of funny skits with Layla as his servant. She can clean his trailer home, scrub his nasty tiolet, serve him grilled cheese sandwhiches in her bikini, and countless other ideas that they can come up with.
4) Regal and Noble can continue to go back and forth for a litle while until they have a match where Noble challenges Regal for his King of the Ring crown. Noble scores the win and becomes the new "King" of wrestling.
5) Regal is now embarrassed that some white trash guy is running around with his cape and crown. Noble would get so over with the crowd as the new "King" as Regal sells it like it's the end of his life.
As you can see, you can keep going with this thing.
I hope WWE realizes that they can do some "great TV" with this little program.
