Jersey All-Pro Wrestling is proud to announce that for the second time in the last 6 months, we surpassed the 1000 fan attendance mark in our home location, Rahway, NJ, as we presented WILD CARD 4.

At Wild Card 4, we also hosted the crew of the upcoming Darren Aronofsky film  "The Wrestler", starring Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei.

"The Wrestler" is a tale of a former wrestling star that had to leave the business due to health reasons who attempts to make a comeback in a wrestling world that is much different from the one he left.

Scenes were shot at Wild Card 4 of Rourke portraying Randy "The Ram" Robinson attending a wrestling show in which he sits in the stands and is recognized by fans in the crowd.

In addition to the small amount of extras that were part of the filming, we had over 1000 genuine JAPW fans, who only added to the authentic atmosphere that the production hoped to capture for the movie. One member of the production crew pegged the crowd size at 1200, but JAPW estimates it to be slightly less than that.

We thank the cast and crew of "The Wrestler" for allowing JAPW and its fans to be a part of this production.

With that being said, lets get down to business and give the results of JAPW WILD CARD 4.

In the opening match, Grim Reefer defeated Bandito, Jr in which Reefer earned his final shot at the JAPW NJ State Title in a Steel Cage on March 8th.

Heavy Hitters  (Havok, Monsta Mack) and DJ Hyde were called out by Pinky Sanchez & Earl Cooter, who's preliminary match in Jersey City last month was interrupted by a Heavy Hitter beatdown. As the Heavy Hitters entered the ring, a legion of wrestlers that the Heavy Hitters had destroyed on past shows hit the ring trying to get revenge (accompanied by Moo-Moo the Hard Core Cow, a mascot for JAPWs sister company JSW). Moo-Moo acted like a cheerleader for the  attacking wrestlers, but they were all taken out one by one by the 3 D-factor teamates.

Suddenly, Eddie Kingston's Entrance Video played over the JAPTron. As Havok and Mack left the ring to investigate, Hyde stood in the ring and was surprised with a quick roll up pin by Moo-Moo for the win.  Moo-Moo exited the ring and took the head off his costume to reveal that it was not Moo-Moo, but Slyk Wagner Brown. DJ Hyde had teamed with SWB in Jersey City against the Heavy Hitters, but left him to get beat down by Mack and Havok and join the D-factor. SWB Grabbed the Microphone and told the Heavy Hitters that next month at Caged Fury "They now have a BLKOut Problem!"

Teddy Hart defeated Kenny Omega & Xavier in a fast paced 3 way elimination match which saw Xavier get eliminated first. It was a back and forth contest that saw all 3 wrestlers give their all, but Hart managed to pull out the win over Omega. After the match, the LAX hit the ring to attack Hart, who promised that he would reveal his partner at Caged Fury that night, but Hart was able to get away and Omega was caught in the crossfire of the LAX attack and took a nasty "Border Toss" in the process. This was not the last we would see of Hart for the night.

Danny Demanto beat Devon Storm in a Wild Card Match voted by the fans.

The vote wound up "all of the above" with the choices of Falls count anywhere,  Hard-core, Last Man Standing, I Quit, and DLC matches. Demanto and Storm used everything available against each other in what was the rubber match in their series. Demanto laid out Storm on a makeshift table on the floor and ascended a  15 foot ladder in the ring. Demanto hit a devastating "Hog Splash" to the floor and as the ref counted to ten, Demanto beat out the count while Storm was layed out. Afterwards, Demanto gave respect to Storm for their great series of matches.

Ron Killings pinned Romeo Roselli in a match filmed for "The Wrestler". JAPW fans outdid themselves as they cheered along the match and became a part of cinematic history.

After Intermission, a video of the aftermath of the Attack on JAPW Heavyweight Champion Low-Ki was played on the JAPtron.

Archadia retained the NJ State Title against "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal In a Wild Card rules match that pitted Archadia's Belt against Black Machismo's career in JAPW.

After interference by Alexa Thatcher and DJ Hyde, Azrieal made the save on his partner Lethal and in turn ended up hitting his tag team partner to set up the win for the NJ State champion. Due to the "Wild Card" stipulation that Jay Lethal agreed to before the match, "Black Machismo"  is forced to leave JAPW forever.  After the match Azriael layed a brutal beating on Lethal.  Afterwards, Lethal was visibly upset that he has to leave the promotion that he grew up in.

LAX defeated the Motor City Machine Guns

In their first JAPW match, Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin put up a heck of a fight against the reigning JAPW Champs Homicide and Hernandez, but even their finely tuned tag team precision was not enough to beat the LAX.

As promised, Teddy Hart came out after LAX got the win and announced who his partner will be as he faces the LAX in a steel cage at Caged Fury on March 8th in Jersey City.

Teddy went on to say that his partner was someone he has a past with, but he hates Homicide so much that he is willing to put that past behind so this man could act as the equalizer against Hernandez in the steel cage.

The lights went out and a Video played on the JAPTron revealing Teddy's partner to be none other than SAMOA JOE!!!
