JIM ROSS SIGNING REPORT

Hi Georgie,
After reading on your website a few weeks ago that Jim Ross was doing a signing at Amazing Heroes in Union New Jersey on August 25th we made plans to attend. August 25th would be a fun day as we would be going to the LOTR convention during the day and then heading to Union for the Jim Ross signing afterwards. At LOTR we met and chatted with our friend Dan who most of you know via the message boards as Dan The Mark and talked about the Ross signing. He was going to the signing also so we met up with him at the Amazing Heroes store. We were a little early so we purchased our tickets and went next door to a deli to get a drink and sit for a bit. After a cool beverage we got on line and saw JR arriving fifteen minutes before his scheduled signing time. The line began to move and before we knew it we were next in line to visit with JR. JR greeted us with a warm hello and asked how we were doing. We told him we were a bit tired after all the wrestling related events we had been to in the last two days. JR asked what we had for him to sign and I quickly opened my Big Red Book which has a photo of him standing next to and interviewing Barry Windham. JR signed the book and we talked a little about WCW and how much I really enjoyed his tenure there. He also signed my other two items I had and we exchanged a little more conversation. At the end of the conversation he shook our hands and thanked us for coming out to see him. JR is a class act and everything I thought he would be. I must thank Bill Payley for organizing and bringing out JR to Amazing Heroes for the Saturday signing. Bill did a great job with the signing getting fans in and out in a timely fashion, can't thank Bill enough for all he did for us. Both me and Taylor had a great time.
