Talks about WWE Boogeyman, and change in wrestling…

Jimmy Valiant Interview Recap   WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

Woo! Mercy Daddy. He's a WWE Hall of Famer alongside his "brother" Johnny Valiant. He's the dancing boy from New York City. Now, the Boogie Woogie Man, is dancing into ClubWWI.com.

Jimmy Valiant is a guest that James Guttman had plenty to ask during his 44 minute uncut
http://www.ClubWWI.com shoot. From how he eats soup with his massive beard to how the announcers dealth with being kissed on the lips by him to stories from his days of training to what it was like to pen it all for his autobiography, Jimmy told all.

Valiant also runs the Boogie Wrestling Camp for young hopefuls for today's industry. JG asked about wrestling's changing climate and how a feud like his against Paul Jones couldn't be duplicated. Jimmy chased Paul forever and when they finally had their hair match, fans were going nuts. Today, things are a bit more rushed. James wonders if they'd be able to let something play out that long today.

"Well, you know, they should. They're missing the boat, brother. I'm not knocking anything Vince is doing now because, you know, here's what I say to people. Brother, if it wasn't drawing money for WWE, they'd flip it around and change it because it's business. But man oh man, I love them personal feuds. That's where your money's at. "

Jimmy then explains the story of his feud with Paul Jones. He went for the Assassin's mask. They cut his hair. He begged for a mask vs. hair match against the Assassin and it became a big deal. Valiant says it still has the record for most tickets sold at the North Carolina Civic Center.

"Personal issues. That's where it is. That's where you get serious. That's how you drew money years ago We didn't need the bad gesture and the bad, you know, the bad language, and all the naked women and all that. God bless them, man. It's working. But if it don't, they'll make it work."

Valiant says he doesn't get to watch WWE or TNA much, but knows one star who Guttman asks about. It's someone with a similar name - "The Boogeyman."

"The cat eating the worms? I never seen him. My kids keep me up on it."

Jimmy spoke for on ClubWWI.com 44 minutes about the transformation from Handsome Jimmy to Boogie Woogie, how Bobby Heenan lead to the birth of the Valiants, singles vs. tag team, his WWE Hall of Fame induction alongside his Luscious brother Johnny, and so much more.
