Ring Of Honor is currently featured on VH1 and the footage has sent Larry Sweeney over the edge. Now Sweeney and his main client Chris Hero have targeted Nigel McGuinness.
VH1's "Where Are They Now?: Reality Stars" has footage from when Sweeney brought his "close, personal friend" Jonny Fairplay to ROH at "Supercard Of Honor II" on March 31st in Detroit. Things didn't go well for Fairplay as Survivor's top villain had his head taken off by a lariat from Nigel McGuinness. Now the entire world can see Fairplay get a concussion at the hands of McGuinness on VH1.
"People should have been kissing Jonny Fairplay's feet," Sweeney said. "This man is one of the biggest celebrities to ever grace the lucrative Reality TV genre. Chris Hero and I love to party with him so we bring him to Detroit and what happens? Nigel McGuinness tries to take his head off. Now this embarrassment is airing over and over again on VH1. There is always a price to pay with Larry Sweeney and Nigel is going to find that out in June."
Sweeney has proven to be ROH's top super agent. He has used his negotiating skills to sign McGuinness to a series of matches in June. It has already been announced that McGuinness and Hero will be part of a Four Corner Survival on June 8th in Boston that also includes Claudio Castagnoli and Mike Quackenbush. You better believe that Hero will target Nigel in this one and that Nigel won't back down.
Just signed for June 9th in Philadelphia is McGuinness against Sweeney's mystery opponent. There is no telling who Sweeney has secured for the date. Sweeney does promise that this will be a main event quality match and "Nigel's toughest opponent."
June 23rd in Chicago will witness a rematch from "Supercard Of Honor II" as McGuinness takes on Chris Hero with Sweeney & Tank Toland in a one-on-one bout.
"I thought the footage was hilarious," McGuinness said. "I admit that I tried to take Jonny Fairplay's head off with the lariat and I'd do it again if I get the opportunity. Larry Sweeney and Chris Hero better watch out or they will be next. Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, I'm going to be ready for a fight. After I take care of Sweeney and his associates nothing will stop me from winning the World Title."
Check your local listings to see when "Where Are They Now?: Reality Stars" airs on VH1. The show will be repeated several times so you can see ROH on VH1.
