MMA Camp 12/1, 2 & 3 and more…..

Hope all is well.  My next MMA Camp is coming up on December 1,2, & 3rd.  We don't have too many signed up, so if you are looking for some one on one instruction this would be the camp to come to.  The winter camps are always the leanest, but the participants walk away with a lot more knowledge than the camps that hold 30 or more.  If you're interested in signing up, go to www.dansevern.com.  Get your deposit in soon so we know how many participants we will have.

Also, we just got in another batch of POG's "Intrusion" DVD's.  This is the best selling pro wrestling DVD thus far... so if you're interested in purchasing your copy go to www.dansevern.com and get it today before we run out again.

"Kearny, Nebraska"

(TEAM SEVERN HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHTER PAUL BOWERS WROTE THE FOLLOWING:)
This past Monday we got back from Kearny Nebraska From The IFC. The first bout of the night was a 155 pound tournament bout in which (Team Severn's) Anthony Morrison won via K.O. of the night in 22 seconds! Anthony unleashed a vicious combo to put his opponent away quickly.

In our second Bout 205 pound Wayne "The Frieght Train" Andrews lost an exciting bout via TKO in the end of the first round and the action never let up until he was caught with a wild punch that led to the end.

Our 3rd bout was Anthony Morrison's tournament final in which he lost a contoversial ref stoppage while he was on top of his opponnent in side control throwing punches! Anthony was rocked with an up kick and proceeded to fall in to side control and unleash strikes when 10 seconds after the kick the ref stopped it!

Bout 4 Dan "The Beast" Severn won the superfight against Chris Clark via keylock mid way through the first round. Being Charged by Clark early led to Dan fighting off of his back for a couple of minutes until he swept Clark and applied a keylock for the submission victory.

Bout 5 main event Ryan "The Punisher" Stout of (Team Severn) lost the IFC World Welterweight title bout to Jake Ellinberger of Matt Lindlands IFL team Via TKO in the 2nd round. Ryan was ahead on all 3 judges Scorecards until the end of the 2nd. He dominated his opponnent with strikes, submission attempts, and sweeps on the mat, and some crisp combinations on the feet. He fell victim to a stomp to his liver from Ellinberger that shut his body down forcing the ref to stop the fight with less than 30 seconds left in the second round. Although Ryan was defeated, he showed dominance until the stomp, and it has been a few years since his last fight with competition as tough as Ellinberger. We know he knocked off some serious ring rust in his return to world class competition only making him more dangerous for his next opponent.

All the best, from the beast...
Dan Severn
