The Liberty Wrestling Organization Returns on February 13th in Lodi, NJ with an Iron Man Match!!!!

One of the premier wrestling companies in the State of New Jersey, the Liberty Wrestling Organization returns to action in just over two weeks to the Boys and Girls Club of Lodi, NJ on Saturday night, February 13th with our first show of the New Year! The LWO went out with a bang in 2009 ending the year with a very controversial Ladder Match which saw the crowning of a new Undisputed LWO National Champion in one “Mr. Wolf” Evan Myers. Now, the LWO will be opening up the New Year with yet another bang as we have a great 2010 debut show planned for all of our fans on Saturday night, February 13th!!

**30 MINUTE IRON MAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TO HIGHLIGHT THE 13th**
“The Essential” Eric Cooper vs. Kekoa, “The Flyin’ Hawaiian”
***‘The Final Chapter”***
We now know that LWO Heavyweight Champion “The Essential” Eric Cooper’s absence from his scheduled Ladder Match title defense last month against Kekoa, “The Flyin’ Hawaiian” was no accident. Cooper stated in an exclusive interview which you will find after the jump that he never intended on defending his championship in such a barbaric match, noting that he is a “professional wrestler” and refuses to have anything to do with ladders and any other objects that do not pertain to a “classic wrestling match.” LWO President Richard Dimmick spoke with Cooper and stated that since he feels he is such a great professional wrestler then he would have no problem showing off his wrestling skills in the one single match that showcases them the best: A 30 Minute Iron Man Match. Dimmick also stated that if Eric Cooper fails to appear a second time around, he will be stripped of his LWO Heavyweight Championship. This decision has apparently made Cooper livid as he has been very vocal about Dimmick’s decision while defending the LWO Heavyweight Championship all over the Great State of Florida. President Dimmick has also announced that since these two men have been feuding for over a year, this will be Kekoa’s LAST CHANCE at Eric Cooper’s LWO Heavyweight Championship. Kekoa’s lifelong dream has been to hold heavyweight gold in the sport of professional wrestling. On Saturday night, February 13th in Lodi, Kekoa’s dreams could finally come true or they could finally be laid to rest by the defending champion Eric Cooper. Either way, these two men will be pulling out all the stops. Both men have something huge at stake and both men are determined to do everything in their power to win. Like him or not, Eric Cooper has been a tremendous champion, holding onto the championship for over a year and defending it in 13 different states. While his tactics are sometimes questionable, you cannot take away the fact that he is a true defending champion. Kekoa is yet another phenomenal wrestler, a LWO Liberty Cup winner and holder of numerous regional championships but winning the LWO Heavyweight Championship; the one title that has eluded him his entire career, will not only springboard him to the top of the LWO, but it will also show the wrestling world that he is for real. Saturday night, February 13th will be the “FINAL CHAPTER” for these two men’s great feud. Be there to witness their LAST encounter!!!

***THE EVAN MYERS / DANNY DANGER SAGA CONTINUES***
Regardless of how he did it, the fact remains clear that “Mr. Wolf” Evan Myers defeated Danny Danger on Saturday, December 5th 2009 in Lodi to capture the LWO National Championship in an impromptu Ladder Match. Fans in attendance have agreed with Danger that Myers resorted to tactics that were unfair to obtain the championship. While the referee was knocked unconscious, Danny climbed the ladder and grabbed a hold of the LWO National Championship to a thunderous roar of the 200 fans in attendance. The only problem was that the referee was still out and unable to see this. “Mr. Wolf” true to his name, pounced on this opportunity and blasted Danger with a steel chair, grabbing the belt from a fallen Danny Danger just in time before the referee recovered and noticed that it was Myers who had the title in his possession and not Danger. The fans cried foul and emails have been flooding the LWO email inbox demanding Danger receive a rematch. Myers has openly stated that he refuses to give Danny a rematch saying that Danger lost and he now has to climb back up the proverbial LWO Ladder in order to gain another title shot. Regardless of how Myers won, he is the champion and the referee is standing by his decision. LWO President Dimmick has gone on record stating that he was not around to witness the match firsthand and therefore must stand by the referee’s decision. In an exclusive interview posted after the jump, Danny has vowed to get even with Evan Myers and recapture what was his in the first place, the LWO National Championship. Oddly enough throughout all of this, “Mr. Wolf” Evan Myers, who is known for being a loner, has been seen hanging out with members of “Malanga Enterprises,” namely J.C. Bouchard and Johnny Malanga.  LWO fans may remember that Myers was seen celebrating with these two men shortly after he won the National Championship. One can only wonder what this means for Danger. Is this the start of something? Or is it just a case of friends celebrating with friends? One thing’s for sure, we will find out on February 13th!

LWO PRESIDENT RICHARD DIMMICK WILL NOT BE APPEARING ON FEBRUARY 13

In a special “State of the LWO” address sent to all of our LWO fans on our mailing list, LWO President Richard D. Dimmick has regretfully informed everyone that he will be unable to attend LWO’s first show of 2010 as he will be overseeing business concerning the LWO’s 2010 Liberty Cup Tournament Weekend that will take place in May. The President has also announced, he plans on visiting several other companies across the globe to secure talent for the Liberty Cup and wants the wrestling world to know that any wrestler who is interested in showcasing their skills for the LWO fans, to please contact him for consideration. Dimmick then stated that he knows he has a lot on his plate to handle regarding the Kekoa/Cooper and Myers/Danger situations but he has already made plans to have LWO Owner and former professional wrestler Tommy Face be in attendance on Saturday, February 13th in Lodi. Rumor has it that Face is furious over the way Myers won the LWO National Championship. President Dimmick and Tommy have had several meetings to sort out the situation. It has been said, Tommy has been overheard having shouting matches over the phone at the LWO offices with his one time former friend Evan Myers (these two man were a part of the famed “La Famiglia group that terrorized wrestlers from 2007 to 2008).At this point the LWO Owner has refused to comment to us on this situation. Who knows how this one will turn out!!!!

TAG TEAM WARFARE OVERTAKES LWO ON THE 13TH!
Who would have ever thought that the unlikely team of “Pretty Boy” Eric Hiller and “Smooth” Ricky Suave would have turned out to be as good of a duo as they have been? Ever since The Haze Brothers reunited after brutalizing each other in a Texas Death Match, these two teams have been at each other. It all started when Suave gave Blake Haze a concussion during a handicapped match against Hiller and Suave.  After Blake’s brother Sean, who was on tour with Pro Wrestling World 1 at the time of the incident, found out he vowed revenge for his injured brother. Amazingly, the team of “Pretty Smooth” has been able to fend off the much more experienced team of The Haze Brothers for the past few months. The LWO fans demanded it yet again so for their viewing pleasure on Saturday night, February 13th in Lodi, it will be Tag Team Warfare yet again, when The Haze Brothers take on Pretty Smooth. This match will surely bring the house down.

What is the Liberty Cup?
For those of you new to the Liberty Wrestling Organization, the Liberty Cup Tournament is the Brain Child of LWO President Richard d. Dimmick. When Dimmick was named President back in Early 2007 he wanted to shake things up in the LWO. So President Dimmick came up with a two night Tournament in which the winner would receive a title shot to cash in at any point over the course of one year. This has now turned into a much anticipated event each year as we approach out 3rd year in holding this tournament. Past years winners include Kekoa “The Flying Hawaiian" first ever winner, and Draven Blaze. The winner also receives automatic entry into the Following years tournament. This years Liberty Cup Tournament will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Lodi on Friday May 7 and Saturday May 8. Special Ticket packages will be made available for this event starting at LWO's March 6 event in Lodi.

***3rd Annual Liberty Cup Tournament News & Updates***

As the Liberty Cup approaches President Dimmick has announced some special things for this years 3rd Annual Liberty Cup Event.

The first major surprise was that both Nights of the Liberty Cup will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Lodi. President Dimmick said that the management at the Boys club was so impressed with the results from only having one night there last year that they requested both nights.

Secondly, President Dimmick has announced that the Liberty Cup will return to year one rules. Four of the Participants will be invitational and three of the participants will have to win a Liberty Cup Qualifying Match. These leaves one spot in the eight man tournament open. President Dimmick has announced that in April there will be a Wildcard Ladder Match to be held in order to fill the final spot. Four Men will be trying to climb a ladder to secure a contract for entry into the Liberty Cup Tournament.

President Dimmick has also announced that there will be a special fan meet and greet on both nights of the event along with Special ticket packages.
