LIVE PERSPECTIVE FROM THE LA COLISEUM

1 - J.Z. Calvan defeated Nam Phan in 26 seconds of the 1st round via referee stoppage. It was a takedown, some punches, and the referee Mario Yamasaki jumped in way too early.
2 - Katsuhiko Nagata defeated.Isiah Hill via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27).
3 - Jonathan Weizorek defeated Tim Persey via referee Herb Dean stoppage at 50 seconds into the 2nd round.
4 - Jake Shields defeated Ido Pariente with a rear naked choke at 2:06 in the 1st round. Shields was completely dominant.
Dennis Rodman, Jay Glazer, Mauro Ranallo, and Bill Goldberg are opening the pay per view. I'd love to see Goldberg spear Rodman, who shouted out UFC Hell No, This Is K-1!
5 - Bernard Ackah knocked out former NFL star Johnnie Morton in 38 seconds. It took one solid shot to the jaw, and Morton was out cold. They tried to revive Morton. Morton is not responding well. Morton removed from the ring on a stretcher with a neck brace on.
Crowd is very restless. It took almost an hour between fights.
6 - Mighty Mo defeated Warpath Villareal via referee Herb Dean stoppage at 1:33 into the 1st round. Mo comes swinging with big right hands but Villareal got in a strong uppercut. Mo missed a right, but connects with a left-right combination. Villareal down but shoots for a leg, Mo is trying to take his back and lands this vicious punch from behind and Villareal's face explodes in blood. Herb Dean stops it right there.
I would say we've got about 20,000 people here at the Coliseum.
7 - Don Sik Yoon defeated Melvin Manhoef via tap out to the arm bar at 1:17 into the 2d round. The fight was close to being called, because Yoon's eye looked very bad. Great fight. The crowd loved it.
8 - Hideo Tokoro defeated Brad Pickett via tap out to the arm bar at 2:41 in the 1st round.
9 - Royce Gracie defeated Kazushi Sakuraba via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).
People booed the hell out of this match live. Boring fight. Too defensive fighters. Not entertaining. Not even a good fight.
10 - Brock Lesnar defeated Kim Min-soo via tap out in 1:09 of the 1st round. Brock a total heel, doesn't accept Kim's offer to touch gloves. Brock with a takedown, full mount, and rained down some hard punches straight to the head. In the post-match interview, Brock exclaimed, "We'll see what promoter wants to step up and hand out some money and let's get some heavyweight titles on the line."
