…….

Georgie,

I just wanted to give you my review for LOTR 7. Up until about 2 weeks ago I wasn't planning on attending the show. Fortunately for me, Superticket #28 became available. I jumped on the opportunity and was not disappointed. I left Neptune, NJ around 645am and arrived at the Crowne Plaza around 730am or so. Sat around for a bit getting organized and watching the wrestlers walk around the hotel. The line started to build at the entrance so I hopped on line to purchase the Flair Combo and entered the show at 9am.

Walked around for about 10 minutes, then heard an announcement over the PA that Superticket holders were to report to the VIP room. I made my way there and was pleasantly surprised with the setup. Each chair was numbered according to your Superticket # and a lanyard was placed on each chair. This was your chair for the day and could come and go as you pleased. That was a great idea. Howard Finkel came in and announced each of the first block guests. That was a cool addition. Photo Ops were first. Supertickets 1-25 went first and so on. This was also a great addition to the show. It seemed to make things go faster.

First up was Mene Gene. He was hilarious. He asked me for the $50 we bet on the Pittsburgh giving me the 22 points. I said what???? Finkel was next and asked each guest their name and where they were from. OMG was next and did not disappoint. He thanked each guest for supporting him over the years. Class act. The lovely Wendi Richter was after Gang. She seemed to happy to be there. Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie was next. He was quiet but very nice to meet. As usual the Killer Bees were class acts. Always great to see them. Jake Roberts was the last guest of the first block. This guy was a clown. He looked stoned or drunk and didn't belong at this show. Never again for me with Jake. After the photo Ops were finished then the Superticket holders 1-25 started with each guests and autographs. This worked out great as well.

In between the first and second blocks, I hit the vendor floor. I met Shane Douglas and Stevie Richards. Those guys were awesome and WrestlingMarx did an awesome job bringing them in. I also met JJ Dillon and Tully Blanchard. Greg Price knows his stuff as the lines were long but moving quickly. I was very impressed with Greg and with Tully and JJ.

I then made my way back to the VIP section for the second block of Photo Ops. It ran smoother the second time around. LOTR also had "photo runners" that went with each VIP guest to take their photo ops. That worked well for me as I always go solo to these events. First up was Don Muraco. Very nice guy and still looked huge. Raven was next. This guy was classless. He would not stand up for the photo op and gave the finger during it. Never again. Glacier was a huge surprise. He looked to be in great shape and was happy to be there. Rene Goulet was next. I don't know much about him but he was very happy to meet everyone. Another classy guy. Kevin Sullivan was after Rene and looked like he could still go. I told him the Red Sox still suck and my Yankees will get them next year. He laughed. The Young Stallions were up next. Powers still looks huge. Roma and I had the same pink shirt on and when I went up to him, I said, "Nice shirt." He replied, "See, we know how to dress. Real men wear pink!" And finally, there was Scott Hall. Say what you want about him at Ring Roasts but he was awesome at the show. Very appreciative of the fans. After the photo ops were finished I went to see Flair.

They were doing tickets 1-25 and so on to keep a nice order to the signing. Flair was awesome to meet. He signed my promo photo and then did the photo ops after our group was finished getting items signed. Dan did an awesome job managing this signing. He's a very organized and respectful person. Flair was just incredible. Many wrestlers came into the photo op to say hello. Flair is still the man!

After the Flair signing, I headed back into the VIP room for the autograph session for the second block. This moved faster than the first block. Kudos to the entire LOTR staff for pulling off this incredible weekend. This moved faster and was more organized than many shows in the past. Awesome show guys!
