October
3rd: Ethan Page might be EVOLVE Champion Timothy Thatcher's greatest threat. To
see why, watch this.
October 3rd: Drew Galloway will not be able to wrestle
in October because of his injury, but that doesn't mean he won't make his
presence felt. Galloway says he has lined up a mystery opponent for Matt Riddle
at EVOLVE 70 that will "blow people's mind." We'll have more from Galloway next
week.
October 3rd: Another interesting note is that Sami Callihan is back at
EVOLVE 71. This is Callihan's first match back in The WWN Family since the WWN
Supershow. Callihan doesn't do anything without making his presence
known.
October 3rd: EVOLVE officials have been holding off on booking Zack Sabre
Jr. vs. Tracy Williams and Fred Yehi for a long time. The idea was to wait until
a weekend needed some competitive, fresh, first-time-ever in EVOLVE matches. The
time is now. Sabre Jr., coming off a successful showing in the WWE Cruiserweight
Classic, says he wants the EVOLVE Title. Both Williams and
Yehi need big wins to show they are ready to get to the next level. Who will get
the key victories here?
October 3rd: The mind-blowing 2016 continues when NXT General Manager
William Regal comes to EVOLVE 71. First, he will share his knowledge as the
special guest in the WWN Seminar/Tryout in the afternoon. The participants will
also get an opportunity to perform in front of Mr. Regal. There are still a few
spots open and wrestlers, managers and referees can go here for info. Mr. Regal will then participate on EVOLVE 71
that night. This will be something special for the live crowd only. Who will get
in the ring with the NXT GM? What will happen? Be there and witness it for
yourself.
October 3rd: If you are a Chris Hero fan, next weekend's EVOLVE cards are
for you. The Hero vs. Gulak issue has been simmering for months. They haven't
had a singles match in EVOLVE since EVOLVE 38 on March 8th, 2015. Since that
time, Hero has knocked out Gulak on two occasions in surprise attacks. The match
next Saturday in Orlando will be intense. Then a week from Sunday it will be
Hero vs. Riddle in a rematch of their memorable contest earlier this year at
EVOLVE 57. Riddle pulled off the win, in what was considered a major upset at
the time. You know that has to be bothering Hero, who claims to be the GOAT.
Will Hero even the score in Ybor City?
October 3rd: We received a very enthusiastic response to yesterday's
announcement that Pacific Coast Wrestling would partner with WWN. Yahoo even
covered the news. Check out the press release here.
October 3rd: As always, we appreciate you taking a few minutes to read
today's WWN Alerts. What did you think of the Ethan Page promo? Tweet using hashtag #WWNLive and
let us know. Thank you!
