EVOLVE and SHINE wrapped up its best Midwest weekend ever and now we look forward to the future. Let’s get to it…..
Thank You Detroit & Chicago: The fans of Livonia, MI and Chicago, IL gave EVOLVE two sellouts last weekend! Thank you very much for all your support! EVOLVE always considered Livonia a home. Briggs To Challenge Theory: The Triple Threat Match for the EVOLVE Championship pitting Austin Theory vs. JD Drake vs. Josh Briggs at EVOLVE 134 last Sunday in Chicago ending with a shocking betrayal as Anthony Henry cost his long time friend and tag team partner JD Drake the contest. We are still waiting for answers from Henry. The match also saw Theory brutally attack Briggs with a chair. The war between Theory and Briggs has been building since Wrestlemania weekend. The first-ever one-on-one match between them has been signed. It will be Austin Theory vs. Josh Briggs for the EVOLVE Championship at EVOLVE 136 in Queens, NY at La Boom.
Congrats To Anthony Gutierrez: EVOLVE has signed Anthony Gutierrez to a contract! Gutierrez earned the contract after taking part in a WWN Seminar/Tryout last June, the WWN Recruitment Camp a few weeks ago and then defeating Karam last Saturday at EVOLVE. We look forward to seeing this promising talent EVOLVE.
NYC Talent Rosters: EVOLVE has made some great additions to the roster in recent months. In addition, we have seen talent continue to climb the ranks. EVOLVE is looking to do something special with this talent at EVOLVE 135 on September 20th in Brooklyn, NY and EVOLVE 136 on September 21st in Queens, NY. We will have match announcements next week.
