After Myers defeated Danger in a very impromptu Ladder Match in December to capture the then vacant LWO National Championship using very questionable tactics, Danny has cried foul and demanded LWO Officials to reverse the decision. LWO President Dick Dimmick went on record and stated that he must stand behind the referee’s decision and Myers would not be stripped of his championship. The two met face to face a few weeks ago during “Resolutions” when Danny interrupted a special celebration that was presented by Malenga Enterprises congratulating Myers for his “clean and decisive victory” over Danger in December. Danger demanded a rematch right there on the spot but Myers informed him that since their Ladder Match was impromptu and had no contract, then there was no rematch clause. Myers then told Danger if he wanted a rematch he would have to wait in line as there were more worthy opponents than him. This enraged danger and he blasted Myers with a forearm only to be then beat down by the members of Malanga Enterprises. Before they could inflict further damage, LWO Owner Tommy Face ran to the ring and made the save. Face then made an impromptu tag team match later that evening pitting Myers and Malenga Enterprise member J.C. Bouchard against Danger and himself with the clause being if Tommy and Danger won, then Danny would get his rematch for the LWO National Championship on March 6th. During the match, both Bouchard and Myers dominated but in the end Danger was able to pin Bouchard and because of this on Saturday night March 6th in *****LWO Heavyweight Championship Rematch***** Kekoa “The Flyin’ Hawaiian” (c) vs. “The Essential” Eric Cooper Kekoa “The Flyin’ Hawaiian’s” year plus journey to achieve his dream and win the LWO Heavyweight Championship was finally realized on February 13th when he defeated then champion Eric Cooper in a grueling 30 Minute Iron Man Match. Kekoa had been battling Cooper for well over a year and had gotten so close to winning the championship but Cooper was somehow always able to squeak by with the title. While Cooper was shown being lazy going into the match, Kekoa was seen training hard and it paid off in the end. Cooper was livid after his loss, citing that he only signed to wrestle for 30 minutes and when the time was up both men had only one fall between the two of them. LWO Officials stated that their must be a winner and ordered the match to continue under sudden death rules. Cooper headed to the back but was stopped dead in his tracks when an all too familiar theme song blared through the speakers and made the LWO fans go wild. Cooper was shocked and this gave Kekoa an opportunity to catch Cooper off guard and defeat him with the “5-0 Slam” and become the new LWO Heavyweight Champion. Immediately after the match, (as seen in the exclusive LWO Resolutions Music Video’ Cooper immediately acted upon his rematch clause and challenged Kekoa for a rematch on March 6th. He also accused the wrestler in question whose music was heard over the speakers of screwing him out of his championship and dared him to show his face on March 6th. Just who that wrestler is remains a mystery. Could it be the wrestler that LWO President Dimmick was seen signing papers with just a few short weeks ago? Cooper seems to know just who it is because whoever it was he was accusing, his name was bleeped out of his post match interview. We understand this was done for privacy reasons due to the fact that LWO President Dimmick does not want false accusations being made which could cause lawsuits that could be detrimental to the LWO. Regardless of the reason’s on Saturday March 6th in Stay tuned as we will be announcing more matches in the days leading up to the event!! We also have a very special announcement for our Puroresu fans as well!!! Tickets can be obtained by emailing [email protected] and can be ordered from our website on the “Events” section as well.
