Due to the stipulations in the contract for the World Championship Match, the Challenger Christian defeated Randy Orton by Disqualification and thus became the NEW World Champion.

Christian spit in Randy Orton's face and then Orton low blowed Christian right in front of the referee causing the DQ.

After the match Orton went nuts and attacked Christian, hitting him with a TV Monitor and RKO'ing him on the Spanish Announce Table twice.
