MAJOR UPDATE FOR NWA WRESTLING LEGENDS FANFEST

Good afternoon, folks!Thanks for your patience in waiting for this announcement. In my opinion, this is the biggest announcement in the history of fanfest.
But along with all the good news, there's also some bad news and, personally, I always wanna hear the bad news first. Earlier this week, I was informed that Blackjack Mulligan will not be with us in Charlotte. Let me assure you that this was Blackjack Mulligan's choice, and not mine. I did everything humanly possible to make this happen, but still fell short. Most of you know how things like this just grate at me. Believe me, no one is more saddened than I am that the big Texan won't be able to be with us.
Now onto some positive news...
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be returning to fanfest weekend this year, as a featured guest! He will now fill the spot in the lineup previously occupied by Mulligan. And Flair will be very, very involved in this year's fanfest activities.
On Thursday night, August 6, our 7 p.m. Q&A will be "25 Years After Starrcade," with former NWA champs Flair and Harley Race sitting down with Chris Cruise to take your questions and discuss one of the first wrestling supercards, Starrcade '83.
Immediately following the question-and-answer session, we'll have a very rare photo opportunity where you'll join Flair and Race on stage -- and Flair's original NWA belt, the subject of Dick Bourne's new book "Ten Pounds of Gold!" An incredibly rare opportunity to stand side-by-side with two of the all-time greats to get a beautiful 8" x 10" photo that will last a lifetime!
The participation of "The Nature Boy" also allows us to present the first reunion of the original Horsemen pairing in many, many years. And as Ric told me, "It will probably be the last."
With Barry Windham here, we can also feature that version of the Horsemen, the same group that strolled to the ring last year on RAW for Ric Flair's post-Wrestlemania retirement ceremony.
On Friday, August 7, beginning at Noon, we will be doing photo ops with three versions of the Four Horsemen. The original group will include Flair, Arn and Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard and James J. Dillon. Windham will replace Ole in the second offering. We will also offer a third grouping, for those of you that might prefer to have Ole and Barry in the same portrait with the rest.
I have setup a page on the website for you guys to get your Horsemen photo op tickets. The address is http://www.nwalegends.com/2009/horsemenphotoops.htm You may make your purchases from there using a credit/debit card or your checking account. Or you may send me a check or money order.
Your purchase will get you one of our high quality 8" x 10" photo op prints, that can be signed for free by each of the Horsemen. With respect to Arn, since he's a vendor guest, he'll most likely need to sign your photo before it gets back to you but, with the rest of the guys, you'll be able to get the photos signed at the Autograph Stage on Friday afternoon.
(With these changes, our other photo op offerings and photo op "combos" will be changing slightly. I will be in contact with those that have already purchased the Horsemen photo op that didn't include Flair, those that have purchased Mulligan photo ops, or those that have purchased the "combos.")
But that's not all, folks!
Ric Flair will also be with us on Friday evening, inducting his long-time friend Blackjack Mulligan into the Hall of Heroes, with Barry Windham accepting the award on behalf of his dad.
So, that's it. That's the announcement. As disappointing as it is to lose someone like Mulligan from the lineup, I hope you'll agree with me that with everything else, all things considered, this truly is the BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENT in fanfest history!
(Give me a day or two to update everything on the website. I will be adjusting the schedule, the individual and tag team/group photo op offerings, etc. Also, there will be no General Admission tickets available for Friday's activities. I'll let you know once the update has been complete.)
