Georgie,
Here is a picture of me and the Melbourne High School Football team.
They presented me with their school T-shirt and cap.
I gave them each a wrist band that says "Choose not to Use"
What a great bunch of kids. I can't even explain how much I enjoyed this time I had with them.
Life is about choices and I believe they walked away with a better understanding on how our choices today will effect our lives tomorrow.
Here is the letter Billy Graham wrote me to read to the kids:
Marc,
Glad to be of help. Because of my heavy doses and prolonged use of steroids I have suffered catastrophic bone joint loss from the on set of avascular necroses. This condition is called the " Death of a Bone " by orthopedic surgeons. This condition has resulted in a 4 inch loss of my height due to a collapsing spine. My hips have been replaced 6 times, my right ankle has been surgically fused and my left ankle has fused on its own. The use of steroids has completely and utterly destroyed my skeletal frame and has caused continuing and excruciating pain beyond belief.
