My brother, friend, and I all went to a PCW show last night to see Danny Doring, Bill Alfonso, and Matt Hardy. Unfortunately, Danny no-showed, but Fonzie and Matt were there!
Bill Alfonso was awesome. We had the pleasure of meeting him WAY back in 1999 at an ECW FanFest, and were all excited about getting a picture with him. Unfortunately, our pictures with him did NOT turn out
So yesterday was a chance to rectify that. Fonzie was more than happy to take a picture with us. He turned to me and said, "You do RVD," then turned to my brother and said, "You do Sabu." Just wanted everyone to know the poses were NOT OUR IDEA.

Matt Hardy's line went on for a long while. Took the 3 of us about .. maybe 45 minutes to an hour to get up to him. What was funny, though, was about 4 or 5 people away ... I was fiddling with my camera and I looked up from it. Matt was standing up getting ready
to take a pic with someone and our eyes met and he waved at me! I looked at my friend and my bro asking if they saw, and they had. I was worried he thought he knew me or something. It was so strange!
But then I finally got up to the table, and I smiled and he shook my hand and he held onto it. He said, "Like your shirt, you're representin' and I appreciate it," in that lovely NC accent of his. All I could do was smile and nod like an idiot, tell him it was no problem. Then he poked my purse strap, on which I have many, many buttons, and he poked my "VOTE FOR PEDRO" button, letting me know he liked it as well, which geeked me to no end!
He then made out an autograph to me and my brother, and we went in for our photo:

Then, my brother had some stuff to say to him, so Matt spent about 3 or 4 minutes talking to him. It must be reiterated that Matt is EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to everyone for all the support he's gotten. To the point where, even though it was a lengthy line last night, he took the time to talk to EVERYONE who wanted to talk to him, never rushing anyone or ignoring anyone or not having time for anyone. He was awesome.
Once he and my brother finished up their conversation, I shook his hand one last time and said, "Looking forward to seeing you again real soon" (I'm a goober) and he said, "Definitely, I'll be around." We then went back later to get a picture of him with my friend when the line was done, and he was very gracious and posed for a picture and it was over!
Sabu was a total shock. We had JUST gotten out of line and were actually on our way out of the building when we heard his music hit. We stopped and figured it had something to do with Fonzie, so since we're fans, we went back and saw Sabu jumping off a chair in the middle of the ring and attacking someone. Total stunner, and everyone was on their feet.
And I'm sorry I can't be of more help on how many people were actually there, but I do know it was a LOT. All the chairs on the floor were full, and the bleachers were 3/4 full. I remember being surprised there were that many fans there.
Thank you again for the tickets. We really enjoyed meeting Matt Hardy :o)
