A quick French Canadian hello!

Bonjour! It's been a few days since I've said hello to all my MySpace friends--so I thought I'd say it in French since I'm in Montreal! I hope everyone is amazing, I'm doing great! I actually had two days off this week which ended up being filled with plenty of drinking, friends, and great times. It was nice to hang out in such worry-free and stress-free environments. Me, Jeff, Beth, Kerry, G, Shannon, and several others did karaoke last Wednesday night--what a blast that was. We even had Claude G out drinking and singing with us until 1 a.m. that night. That was quite a sight to behold, HA! The next night in Raleigh was good times as well--Benny, please--slap yourself harder with my hand next time, lol! And kudos to the girl who was going shot for shot with us at the bar! And if you're ever in Raleigh and a seafood fan, make sure to check out the 42nd Street Oyster Bar. It's where we had dinner at. 42nd Street is a cool place with great food and a good atmosphere. Although sleeping only two hours Friday night made Saturday a long, long day for Mr. Matthew!!!

I wanna thank all the fans in Ottawa for the magnificent ovation you guys gave Jeff and I! It was absolutely awesome, THANKS! I enjoyed our almost 30 minute match with Cade and Murdoch that ended in proper fashion. MOTION, FATE, SWANTON! One, two, three, Hardys win! I love it! HardyMania is running wild and stronger than it's ever been. Make sure to check me out today in Montreal if you're in the area and get a chance. I also want to thank everyone who complimented me on my win against the silly-ass Miz on Smackdown Friday. I must give Miz some props--he's improving and he impressed me with his toughness that night. But the Real Worlder was in for a very unfortunate Twist Of Fate regardless on that particular night. Thanks for all the "MATT FOR CHAMP" signs that have been popping up at live events, Raw, and Smackdown. I also dug the "EDGE FEARS HARDY" sign that was front row in Baltimore a couple weeks ago, thanks! Keep the support coming, and I'll keep the effort and entertainment coming. I'm so fully focused with no outside distractions--get ready for an exciting future full of Mattitude!

On a closing note, life is all about choices. We choose how our life ultimately plays out. No one else. We choose to either bust our ass or be lazy f*cks. Never make excuses. We choose what our priorities are gonna be throughout each stage of our lives. Some people will agree with you, several people won't. We make the choice of who to invest in and who to believe in. Hopefully it's a win-win for both sides, but unfortunately it's often a one-way win. We choose what aspects of our life we're willing to sacrifice to gain in other areas. Make sure you're not losing more than you're gaining. We have to be able to make choices based on the big picture, the long term. If you always think in the context of what feels right for the moment, you'll definitely let something very important slip away. We choose our own future and destiny. No one else can. Today's quote of the day comes out of a song that reminds me of my last few days. Be well my cyberamigos, I got nothing but love for ya...

Quote of the day - "The only thing I'll ever ask of you, gotta promise not to stop when I say when" - Foo Fighters, Everlong
