A top ranked wrestler were spotted arriving at MLW’s new headquarters yesterday for meetings with the boss, Court Bauer. The MLW Newsletter is under strict orders not to reveal who it is… but we can confirm this individual is an elite level wrestler that could make a major impact in MLW.

•Salina de la Renta is in demand. The media is in a frenzy to speak with her as she prepares to takeover MLW’s flagship series FUSION next week. Salina will be appearing on Univision this Friday and next Friday she will drop by SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio as she shares her vision of what FUSION will look like when she’s at the helm for one night only.

•Referee Doug Markham claims he has received “numerous phone calls” from an unknown number threatening him. Markham speculates it could be Myron Reed and/or Rich Swann.  Markham has been accused of biased officiating by Reed and Swann. The league is investigating.

•Could we see “The Beast” unleashed once again in MLW? UFC Superfight Champion and hall of famer Dan Severn has been spotted coaching Tom Lawlor at the champ’s mini fight camp over the last few days. It’s worth noting Severn was the champ’s idol growing up.

Mance Warner was reportedly offered a craft beer sponsorship but declined. Ol Mancer only drinks Payday Natty Light when taking a swig for the working man.

•League scouts were taking a look at key prospects on the northeast wrestling circuit over the weekend. New signees are expected to be announced shortly.

•The lobby at the new MLW headquarters in New York was sold out as the league had the new National Openweight Championship belt on display. No pictures have leaked… yet but one staffer called it “the most gorgeous belt” he’s ever seen.

•Self proclaimed “global dealers in violence,” CONTRA Unit has vowed to disrupt and destroy Major League Wrestling. With the trio threatening a “massive body count” on the horizon, the MLW locker room is on alert. Meanwhile, many have speculated who is behind this underground guerrilla faction.  Thus far, no one has a clue.

•The “maestro of Mexican Strong Style” Daga is being pursued by several managers and promoters.  Will the fan favorite sign on to be represented by the likes of Konnan?, Salina de la Renta? or Colonel Robert Parker?  Stay tuned.

Konnan has been working through some health related issues connected to his Miami comeback bout in December where Promociones Dorado savagely attacked the legendary luchador. The guiding light for many luchadores over the past 25 years has been active in the front office until getting cleared to return to his managing duties.

•Congratulations to the future Mr and Mrs Chris Measheaw who got engaged at a recent MLW event at the Melrose Ballroom in NYC. Watch the major league proposal.
