•League officials are very concerned about contract tampering. No, not the usual suspects. This time the threat comes from withinJosef Samael’s activity at MLW Headquarters has raised concern as league officials attempt to keep tabs on CONTRA Unit from afar. Could the megalomaniac be writing new contracts with huge dollar signs attached to them?  Samael along with CONTRA Unit took over MLW headquarters in Westchester, NY on May 9 (watch). League officials are working remotely and continue to manage most of the league’s operations, however CONTRA does have access to key aspects of MLW’s business.

Alex Hammerstone is preparing for an upcoming weightlifting competition on the west coast. The National Openweight Champion will be competing in two events: the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. Will the master of muscle mountain claim first place? Hammerstone guarantees it.

•While on the topic of Hammerstone, the Phoenix powerhouse recently inked a new long-term deal with the league. The new contract keeps MLW the house of Hammer for years to come. An interesting stat: the story, which broke over the weekend, ended up breaking the record for MLW.com views and visits in a 24 hour period.

•Look for more Alicia Atout this summer. Alicia and the MLW production crew are working on a top secret project featuring the “Interview Queen”. Speaking of Atout, her first MLW shirt is now available at MLWshop.com.

•MLW CEO and founder Court Bauer recently had a top secret meeting with someone that would turn heads if people had seen this secret sit-down. Who did the boss meet with? If sources are to be believed, we may find out soon.

•Caribbean legend Savio Vega wants the self-proclaimed Caribbean Heavyweight Champion Richard Holliday to put up the belt in a final showdown. Holliday stole the historic Caribbean title earlier this year in a match. Now, Vega wants to settle the dispute once and for all. The location for such a match? If it was up to Vega: Roberto Clemente Walker Stadium in Puerto Rico. Vega, a renowned promoter on the island, believes it is the perfect destination for the showdown. League officials are exploring this offer.

•Speaking of the Dynasty, there is a lot of innuendo surrounding “The Untouchable” Gino Medina. What’s his status within Dynasty? Are rumors of Gino in a high profile romance true? Gino says he doesn’t kiss and tell.

Ross Von Erich, who was in the action film Fast & Furious: Hobbs and Shaw, isn’t the only MLW wrestler to appear in a movie. A certain MLW wrestler will be featured in an upcoming horror film. Any guesses who will be rampaging on the silver screen?

•Happy birthday to Kevin Von Erich, who celebrated his 63rd birthday this past week. You can buy the first-ever Kevin Von Erich MLW t-shirt here.

“Filthy” Tom Lawlor has demanded his fight team ALL get the same haircut to show team unity. Reports from the fight camp indicate the new team hairstyle had mixed results with some spotty work performed in the barber chair. Perhaps the captain should’ve recruited Brutus Beefcake to do some cutting and struttin’ on Dominic Garrini and Erick Stevens? Fortunately for King Mo, the 2-time MMA champion is bald.

•There has been a lot of speculation Injustice over who the new member of Injustice is. World Middleweight Champ Myron Reed continues teasing the reveal is coming soon.

•MLW is open for business. Remotely that is. The office of wrestling operations continues to scout and recruit athletes. Watching footage online and engaging prospects from around the world, the league expects to make some new signee announcements soon.

•While arena doors remain shut, the Von Erich boys have been keeping in shape training on the Von Erich ranch on Kauai.  The World Tag Team Champions have been running on the beaches every morning at sunrise before segueing to taxing days working on the ranch during mostly physical labor. One thing is for sure: Ross and Marshall remain certified country strong.

•During the MLW Anthology featuring LA Park (watch), a 20 year old Jared St Laurent can be spotted roaming ringside. 18 years later St. Laurent is the COO of the company and is the longest tenured employee.

•What is PULP FUSION? Find out soon…

•Amid a stay in shelter order, Puma King was stranded in the US and has been stuck temporarily living with Rich Bocchini. The problem for this odd couple? Rich is “violently allergic” to cats
