MORE LETTERS COMING ABOUT FAN FRIENDLYNESS

….

Hey Georgie ....

How about if we take this back even further .....  Before WWE when they were WWF and WWWF.
Remember when your favorites would walk down the aisle with no guardrails and sign autographs for people reaching up to them while they were standing in the ring????

You could go to Sunnyside Gardens and catch the wrestlers by the dressing room door (yes, even the world champion ).  I guess times just keep changing.

It's not a wrestling match anymore ... it's now a sports entertainment "event".

There's a buck to be made everywhere you look, and now the WWE has it's goons in place whenever there is any kind of autograph session or appearance.   Most of the wrestlers are happy to oblige and want to meet their adoring fans, but the office people who accompany the talent to these sessions are getting worse & worse.

Not too long ago, I saw a man with his two sons attend an autograph session. The one son took a picture with the wrestler, and then the office goon would not let the second son have his picture taken.  He was treating the father & 2 sons as "one"....

The wrestler saw the look of sadness on the second boy's face and immediately over-ruled the goon and let the father take the picture with the second son.

This behavior from the office people surely comes from instructions from the corporate offices.  But if they really want to put smiles on people's faces.

They need to go back in time and remember that there would be no Corporate Offices and new million dollar studios if there were no fans.

John, I remember hanging out at the Sunnyside Bar just chatting with the guys for a half an hour, while some of them waited for a ride with another wrestler.
I miss the good old days, and I guess they will never be back....

BTW - John, I have to tell you I remember things that happened years ago, more than what happened on Raw last week.  That is sad.
