Latest from WWE.com:

Huge media coverage on this, almost as much as O.J.

This is such a hard pill to swallow.  I must have received at least 300 or more emails and phone calls.  Everyone is in total shock.  Nobody wants to believe this is how the illustrious career of Chris Benoit will end so tragically.

I first met Nancy at John Arezzi's Conventions, she was always a sweetheart.  Then married to Kevin Sullivan, we always had lots of laughs.
Arezzi adored Nancy and would have her at almost all his Weekend of Champions Conventions.

The big question here is, what would drive Chris to do such a horrific act on his family?

I was still grieving for my friend Sherri, and now this.  We, as fans can't take too much more.  I understand that Ted DiBiase was brought in to help the grieving.

WWE had a statement by Paul Heyman, but it was taken down.  Carlos tells me that:
Heyman kept saying how Benoit was an inspirational talent and how he ragged on Heyman for giving him the "Crippler" moniker and that Benoit was tearful the night that Sabu suffered the broken neck and had to be hospitalized.... talked about the Radicals all coming in from ECW and making their impact in WWE.... said "this sucks such an awful day that we lose such a great family like the Benoits".
He also mentioned  WOMAN and SHERRI being the two original ECW female valets
and that Woman was a stellar talent and wonderful person backstage....

Paul also mentioned to me that Nancy helped him get into the business.

I would like to thank one of our readers Carlos for sending us all these links.

Chris with Nancy photo's in better times

I met Nancy on 6/25/1994 at a UWF-ECW show in Yonkers Raceway....
..... horrible coincidence in the exact date......  Carlos
Funk vs. Sabu was the main event and Nancy was selling $10 ECW Shirts at intermission..
(Foley was 10 seats over from me, Dreamer was still in Suspenders, Tommy Cairo vs. Sandman was the match,
Pitbull I was still solo.... Public Enemy were there... a young and skinny Mikey Whipwreck too)

FOX in Atlanta calls it "double murder-suicide".

One of the most gifted wrestlers in today's wacky world of Professional Wrestling had to leave us on such a tragic and sad note.  Our thoughts go out to everyone who enjoyed Chris and Nancy in the ring, and our prayers to their families, friends and fans.

If anyone would care to share their thoughts, send them to Georgie @ [email protected]

I'm also sure my snail mail Wrestling Chatterbox Newsletter will be a little late.
