MORE RANTINGS ABOUT WRESTLING CONVENTIONS

I wasn't going to bring this up, since I NEVER plugged either of these conventions, but I feel I should let you fans know about it.
 
Over the last month or so, I was asked by two promoters to list their Conventions, and I didn't know either one of them, so I decided not to list them this time.

This is a letter that was sent out today:
 
Due to an untimely illness which led to a freeze on the funds to cover the Gathering of the stars convention, it is my duty to inform you all that Gathering of the stars has been canceled. For anyone who already purchased tickets, your full refunds will be sent out this week for sure.

His name is Joe and he asked me to list his convention, but I was afraid to, because of the fiasco in San Francisco.  Well after a few weeks, I was told by a few friends, that Joe also canceled.  As soon as I heard it was canceled I went to the site, and it was already removed from the internet.
 
But what I found to be sad, is that Mia St John still has the two day convention still listed on her site:  Mia The Knockout St. John   So I don't even know if she has been informed by the promoter.  (I dropped her note to her site)

I informed Tammy Sytch right away and luckily she was able to get another last minute booking.

I would also like to congratulate Tammy & John on the closing on their home today.  Much luck to you both.

For the above two reasons, I will continue to be leery of listing new promoters trying to run Wrestling Conventions. SORRY.

I am still checking on one other Convention that will be taking place next year, that I will probably be listing, but I am still checking.

Thanks for understanding, but I don't want to see any of our readers losing their money anymore with these so called wannabe wrestling promoters.
