……

Georgie,

Today I attended the show in Cherry Hill and I was disappointed. There was about a max. of 50 patrons there.   I don't know why this happened, I know it was promoted for a few months at least.   I believe that this was his first and hopefully last attempt of a show. His staff was unprofessional (when they could be found). There was a constant "changing of the guard" at the admission table.   The first half of the show was  dead, maybe 20 patrons at the most.
The second half of the show  there seemed to be a glimmer of hope but alas I was wrong (ill get into that in a minute).  When Jake Roberts arrived, it seemed that everyone came out of the woodwork for him.   I was taking pictures  for my reviews like i normally do and The" promoter" came over to me and the guy I was sitting next to and asked us not to take any more pictures of Jake.. We explained to him that we do reviews for you and he said he did not care and asked us not to take pictures, we agreed no to. ( there was only 2 pictures that we took of Jake)   If this was Jake doing or the promoter I don't know. Personally I think if you want to have a positive review of your show you  should not mind having pics taken (we were not in the pictures with him) we were taking shots of the people in line (Like we are going to sell those pictures) All we were do was trying to help give Jake back some credibility. but I guess he is good on his own.
The other thing that really annoyed me was that the people running the ticket stand did not know who was where. I asked for an autograph ticket for Brutus the barber and Al Snow (I did not know that Al  was a vendor guest) I got my item signed by Brutus and went over to Al Snow.   The Mgr. told me that Al was a vendor guest. Then I told him that they are selling tix for vendor guests. I got that cleared up. The person who took my money told me "I' m sorry about that, don't know  who is where and I'm only here for a few more minutes (very professional).
The only thing that I was happy with was with the vendor guests. The one who stood out to me the most was Gorgeous George (thanks to 3 B promotions)
If the promoter of the show wants to do another convention he should take a lesson form one of the newer shows on the convention circuit the guys at Signamania. Their first 2 shows ran very smooth. Ladies and Gentleman, get those notepads out and take notes on these guys.
One more thing...  When Jake got up and walked around people took candid pics of him with patrons and vendors.… He had no problem with that. Oh well

Hey Georgie,

Myself and a friend drove to the Cherry Hill signings today and it was excellent.  It was great to see Melissa Coates, Tracy Brooks, Sunny and the other Superstars were super nice.  Al Snow and DA Blue Boy had us cracking up.  About 2 PM Sandman, Gary Pitbull Wolfe and Annihilation showed up.  Sandman had two nasty marks with stitches from the beer bottle that hit him, but he was happy to be a free man again.  Pretty Boy Doug Sommers was very nice. Chris Masters remembered meeting me at Denny's in Wilkes Barre, PA.  Tito Santana always a class act. Amy Lee was there representing PWU.  All the stars were very pleasant and talkative.  I definitely plan to go for the Chyna signing on September 6th.  Jenny's Toy Chest held a very well run and organized event.  I will definitely attend again if they hold other events like this.

J&J Collectibles put on an awesome meet & greet. Here's hoping they do one like this next year (or hopefully sooner!)
Some other thoughts on it was that since the morning was kinda slow, I was able to chat with Tito Santana, Tom Brandi and Chris Masters longer than I would've thought possible. All of the stars were real friendly and a pleasure to meet.
