I would like to thank you for putting this thread together so that people can see what an amazing man Eddie Guerrero was.
I got into the business because of men like Eddie. I am writing this with a heavy heart because the wrestling fraternity has lost an amazing brother. I hate it that people like Eddie, Michael, and Chris had all gotten their lives together and started to make amends for their troubled pasts when they caught back up to them. We have lost a man that has inspired a generation of people to follow their dreams and to aspire to do what they want to do, no matter the costs. I have watched Eddie almost as long as I have watch wrestling, and it will be strange to know what when I watch it in the future that I will not be able to watch him do what he loved to do, what he was out in this earth to do, and that was to wrestle and entertain millions. I can tell you that this industry will never see a man like Eddie. He was a man that gave all he had and never asked for more then his fair share. He never put himself above the business and never, never above the fans. I will truly miss the man we called Latino Heat, Eddie Guerrero.

Your very welcome, I know how much Eddie meant to all of us.

I was in the gym on Sunday morning when my friend came in to tell me the bad news about Eddie Guerrero. I couldn't even really finish working out. It may sound weird but it was really feels like an extended member of my family died. I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie, but I wish I could have met him again, but one of the times I did couldn't have went any better than it did. Its good to know that Eddie was clean for the last 4 years, and if steroids were the case then I think WWE needs to wake up and take away this "big guy" standard that they've had for so long. Just because you're bigger, doesn't mean you're a better wrestler, and there should be no need for guys trying to keep up with everyone else by using steroids. Someone has to put a stop to it because the wrestling world just loses one great after the next.

My favorite Eddie memory was from meeting him at a local hotel one time. It was just me and two friends with Eddie, and my one friend brought Eddie the newest figure out of him, for him. As Eddie was getting into his car he turned around, in his really thick Latino accent said "Now my wife has something else to play with" lol. I still can't believe he's gone, the wrestling world lost one of it's best. RIP Eddie

It’s a absolute blow to lose such an absolutely wonderful man… I enjoyed watching him live, and over the T.V. One of my favorite Eddie times was during his rivalry with Rey Mysterio, and he was constantly yelling into the microphone… DOMINIC !!!! I’M YOUR PAPI !!!!!! He was such a great entertainer, athlete, and based on his DVD explaining his life, one hell of a warrior.

He will always be one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. I will always remember his soft smirky like smile whenever he was up to no good in the ring. I feel so hurt inside… Cold almost. God Bless Eddie Guerrero as he looks down from above and watches his beautiful family. God bless him as he watches all his adoring fans like myself admire him and his life. My deepest condolences go out to his loved ones, and his beautiful family…. To all those that feel the same as me… Let us celebrate his life to the fullest and continue those loud Eddie chants as we watch RAW and SMACKDOWN from home, or an arena. I Love You Eddie !!!! Que Dios te cuide y que este en paz  !!!! Un angel a regresado a los cielos, y se llama Eddie Guerrero. Te quiero mucho Eddie !     One Of Your Biggest Fans, Juan L. Rivera

The news of Eddie's death earlier today totally shocked me and seemed so random for some odd reason. At first I thought it was a joke, but then reality shortly set in when I went to WWE.com and saw that it was real. I attended this past weeks Smackdown taping (Tues. the 8th) in Indianapolis where Eddie wrestled Mr. Kennedy. I am privileged that I had the opportunity to see one of his last matches, if not his very last match. Eddie, you will be missed and guaranteed never forgotten.
Thanks,

Ummm, I would have to say that my favorite moment was probably when Him and Rikishi was together or Chyna and Eddie Moments.  But I think all of the moments was the best of Eddie Guerrero.  He will be missed.  R.I.P. Eddie    From:  KYLE

We have all lost an incredible person in Eddie Guerrero, my condolences go out to the entire Guerrero family as they have lost an incredible father, husband, son, brother, uncle etc. and human being. I would just like to say that pound for pound Eddie Guerrero was the best wrestler in the world, I’ve stood by that statement for years now and continue to. I am overwhelmed by this loss. It has hit me personally hard since I am an indy wrestler and long time Eddie Guerrero fan and admirer. I loved Eddie and I had the pleasure of meeting him before Wrestle-Mania 20 at an autograph signing at Modell’s in NYC. He was a great wrestler and an even greater man. Words can’t describe this loss to the wrestling community and more over the world. Eddie Guerrero was a giant of a man, who overcame the odds when he battled his demons and won. I cried my eyes out this morning and grasped onto my autographed photo of Eddie for dear life, I couldn’t get a hold of myself because it hurt too much. It actually felt as though one of my own family members had passed. I loved Eddie and everything and anything he ever brought to the table, I loved doing impersonations of Eddie as he had such an intensity and great way about him that it was always fun to make people laugh with it. I will always remember meeting him and all the great matches and memories he has left us with. Eddie Guerrero had a wrestling ring when he was young growing up, he made a living in a wrestling ring these past years, and in heaven there’s a ring for him and all of the wrestlers that have past over the years. Eddie is and forever will be a cornerstone in professional wrestling as an amazing entertainer and athlete. Viva la Raza and Long live Eddie Guerrero. God bless his soul. We love and miss you Eddie. The Latino Heat will remain forever. Rest in peace,mi amigo.     From:  -Mike Durnin

AOL News picks up Eddie Guerrero story
By: Dave Whitaker
AOL News did a story on the Sunday death of Eddie Guerrero.  The story includes quotes by nephew Chavo.  To read the story, click here

When I heard that he died I thought it was all a lie. I was like no that's not true but I kept going to other websites and I saw that he really died, and I just didn't know what to do.
For me Eddie was like my 2nd father, even if I never met him I only saw him on t.v.
He has made me go and try to be a wrestler, he will always be the best wrestler to me. Everyone wants Hulk Hogan back and some other wrestlers to come back and wrestle. I always knew Eddie would be there to wrestle every night on Smackdown,  He inspired me by watching his matches and watching Cheating Death Stealing Life The Eddie Guerrero Story.  I saw that DVD like 6 times. I cried when he won the WWE title I always thought when I become a wrestler I would wrestle him one day but now my dream can't come true. Eddie would always be missed I love him till the day I no longer walk this earth and I say thank you Eddie for everything.    VIVA LA RAZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last time we saw Eddy on WWE TV.... Smackdown def. Mr. Kennedy...... and Kennedy
ambushed him with a chairshot (which Eddy didn't look like he had "cover").... then after
the break a doctor is with him flashing bright lights into his eyes as Batista comes in
to check on him and says "Eddy you may have a concussion"..... Eddy's response lines
are stammered and muttered at best...... just before the promo fades out, Eddy's about to
tip backwards on the examination table with gloss in his eyes and a look of
"coming in and out of consciousness".
G*D. Maybe it was a legit injury made scripted.
I first read this news an HOUR ago and my jaw still has not shut.

As some of you know WWE superstar Eddie Guerrero. You'll hear a lot of the factual boring stuff, but I wanted to offer a different insight.

So many of us will say Eddie was taken from us far too earlier and for us that may be true. But for Eddie maybe it was the perfect time. Personally, he had overcome his personal demons of alcohol, drugs and street life. He had a great wife and 3 wonderful daughters that he got to see grow up some. He also had great friends that he had met inside and outside the ring that seemed to be lif elong friends. If you add finicial stability, theres not much more you can ask for personally.

Professionally Eddie conquered WCW, ECW and WWE. He got to work with his nephew Chavo Jr. and his brother Chavo Sr. He held many titles and the fan were wild about him wether he was cheating, lying and stealing or if Latino Heat was the good guy. He had just reentered the title seen and many believe he would have won the belt Tuesday. I'm glad that didn't happen. I wouldn't want fans to remember him as a Trivia Fact ( the guy who died while Champ).

My point is simply professionally and personally the man went out on top and if it is our time to go, isn't that all we can ask?

I remember Eddie at SS 2004 and the Gund Arena now the Question..When he came out on his low rider, he looked right at me and pointed at me ' I don't think it was on camera" but as he was leaving I got to tap him on his arm and he looked at me and said "VIVA LA RIZA" it made my night knowing I sent over $1m000 for my seats that I got to get up close and he did that for me..RIP Eddie you will forever be loved and missed not only as a wrestler but as a person..but now your in a far better place you can ever be..in that wrestling ring high in the sky..My god speak
