MY REVIEW OF MONDAY NIGHT WARS

The Ringmaster has alot of say….

I have been a wrestling fan ever since I was 3 yrs old.  I was a big fan of WWF/E, NWA, WCCW, and AAA. When the Monday Night Wars began in the 90's my choice was Raw because it had better superstars and story lines. I didn't like WCW because, with the exception of Ric Flair it looked like the retirement home for the WWE.
Even though TNA had alot of "HOLY SH?@" moments on Monday, Raw had the better show, because here was a story line about a real life situation that for 12 yrs had plagued both men, and if you were a viewer of Raw on Monday night you didn't know how this whole situation was going to play out. When both Shawn and Bret hugged in the ring it left you wondering, were both men sincere and if down the road would one of them turn heel. Even when Vince attacked Bret it was a surprise because it looked as if he would take the high road that HBK took and when that moment came, THE KICK SCENE AROUND THE WORLD there was that WWE moment that the audience will remember 25yrs from now.
TNA just kept introducing star after star(NOTE: Seeing the Big Valbowski, Jeff Hardy, and Ric Flair was great), but unlike WWE which gave the fans two wrestling moments which will go down in wrestling history, TNA didn't.  TNA was all flash and no substance. Hulk Hogan seemed out of place in a TNA ring as did almost 85% of the stars who showed up there on Monday night. The reason for this is because the majority of these stars built and have there legacy in the WWE, with the exception of Ric Flair who established his in both the NWA and WWF.  Will TNA be around in 40 years? I doubt it, especially with Bischoff and troupe Hogan in charge

(Note: Remember the the fall of WCW).

The Monday Night Wars may well begin again, but look for the same results. Vince 2  TNA 0.
