FROM SOUTH RIVER, NJ 5/11…..

National Wrestling Superstars fans used words like "the best night of wrestling" and "fantastic" to describe what NWS are calling "the Best Show That People Didn't See" in South River on Friday night, May 11th at the VFW Hall. With just over 125 fans in attendance, all the wrestlers on the card put their "working boots" on and went home happy.

Results:
Danny Doring (with Equalizer and and Slyk Wagner Brown) defeated The Rogue;

Next the ring announcer announced the participants in the Crazy 8 Tournament
Mikey Pacifica, Jersey Jerry D, Corrputed Youth, J.D. Smoothie, Jumpin Joey Janella; J.D. Highlander, Wasted Youth and Dirtbag Dan Petit (who swore he only came out of retirement to prove he was the
"craziest" of the "Crazy 8". The match lasted almost 20 minutes with J.D. Smoothie in from the start until the end when J.T. Highlander threw both Smoothie and Pacifica over the top rope for the win.

Next was a mixed tag match between King & Queen winners Danny Demanto and Alicia taking on Roxy Cotton and Bandido, Jr.  Bandido and Cotton pulled an upset victory over the King & Queen when Bandido pinned Demanto.

The 4th bout was a hardcore title bout between The Equalizer and Kevin Sullivan. Due to outside interference and loss of blood on both wrestlers, the bout was ruled a no contest.

After intermission was a Junior Heavyweight title bout between champion Gavin Quest and Gil Quest (many called this a Quest for the Gold). After nearly 10 minutes, Gavin hit several high spots and rolled up Gil for the win.

The main event saw the wrestler formerly known as Billy Gunn, currently wrestling down in TNA as Kip James take on the returning Slyk Wagner Brown. After the match, Equalizer, Danny Doring and Slyk Wagner Brown attacked Kip James when Kevin Sullivan came from the back wielding a chair to chase off the bad guys. NWS promoters were quick to set up a main event for Saturday in North Middletown, NJ pitting Kip James and Kevin Sullivan against The Equalizer, Danny Doring and Slyk Wagner Brown.
