…..

On Saturday night, November 8th, fans  (and even owners of other wrestling promotions who live in the area) flocked to Central Regional High School in Bayville (Ocean County) New Jersey to see what the leader in pro wrestling entertainment, National Wrestling Superstars, does best…and that’s entertain the fans with their family-style of pro wrestling action.

Results:

Match 1
Antonio Malave vs Slayer
Slayer, a long time favorite of the Ocean County fans tried sharing one of his biscuits with both Antonio Malave and referee Mike “Quick Count” Dillon, but neither wanted to share, so he tried giving them to the fans instead. While sharing his treats, Malave attacked Slayer and threw him into the ring and hit him with a barrage of power moves that saw the fans quickly turn on Malave. Somehow, after nearly 9 minutes, Slayer, who was placed on the top turnbuckle hit his patented facebuster and scored a 1-2-3 over Malave.

Match #2
The Equalizer vs The Patriot
The Patriot, who was escorted by Miss Liberty (from the NFL and other sports attractions) greeted the fans before former ECW star The Equalizer, who was accompanied by his manager Gigolo Joe Jones interrupted the cheers. Once the match got started, The Patriot took it straight to Jones and Equalizer and even went outside the ring where Equalizer used a chair on America’s hero. The two went all over the building and into the stands before officials got them back into the ring. After nearly 10 minutes, with both stars gaining and losing the advantage, The Patriot put Equalizer in a full nelson, preparing for a slam when Jones popped up and Patriot pushed Equalizer into his manager, then once again clamped on the full nelson for the slam and the 1-2-3. The Patriot and Miss Liberty celebrated with the crowd.

Match #3
Jersey Shore Title Match
Mike Quest vs Nicky Oceans
This rivalry has become very personal since Quest broke Oceans nose last year at an NWS event and Oceans vowed to make him pay for what he did. And from the opening bell, the former Jersey Shore champion took it far and beyond sending the champion flying over the top rope and into the chairs (see the tape on the brutal bump taken by Quest on the ring apron).  Once back inside, both wrestlers battled with Quest hitting a German Suplex for the pin.

Match #4
Wasted Youth vs Hellter Skelter.
Youth came to the ring escorted by Miss Liberty and there were many  cheers from the fans in Ocean County when Skelter interrupted the cheers and came to the ring with Sal Sincere, Julio Dinero, Gigolo Joe Jones and Miss Michelle saying he didn’t come from the depths of hell in Philadelphia to wrestle this local talent. He bragged on how he had “wrestled legends and how dare Youth be not only in the same ring, but the same building as him”. NWS Commissioner Gino Moore told him that “you may be a legend in hell, but this is NWS and you have to start somewhere and Wasted Youth is your opponent”. Moore also ordered Dinero and Sincere to leave the ring. Before Sincere and Dinero left the ring, they totally berated both Youth and Miss Liberty (another reason to buy the tape). Upset that they left, Skelter seemed to be at a loss with his opponent grabbing the advantage. This upset both Skelter’s managers and after about 4 minutes, they went to the locker room and brought out Dinero and Sincere who made it a 4 one 1 beatdown on Wasted Youth before Slayer came to the ring to try to help, but was met with the same fate. Finally, former WWE stars Ax and Smash from Demolition came to the rescue. NWS Commissioner, Gino Moore, watching what happened on the tv in the control room, made his way to ringside and said he had had enough and set up the main event, Ax and Smash vs Dinero and Sincere. Demolition wanted more and demanded that it be a handicapped match and wanted Hellter Skelter included in the mix. To further make things exciting for the fans, they wanted to go old school and make it 2 out of 3 falls which Commissioner Moore agreed to. The match was set for the end of the night.

After an intermission where fans took pictures and got autographs of the stars (and enjoyed good food provided by the local fire company halls), the action got back under way.

Match #5
Corey Havoc vs Ryan Blackheart.
Corey Havoc made his way to ringside, strolling arrogantly and showing little regard for the fans while Blackheart, another Ocean County alumni was definitely the fan favorite. The opening saw Havoc hit a huge slap across the face (heard around the building), which made Blackheart livid and the two brawled all over the ring. Just when it seemed that Blackheart was on the verge of winning, out came Equalizer who tossed Havoc his belt and distracted the referee. Havoc hit Blackheart with the belt and the referee counted the 1-2-3.

Match #6
J.D.Smooth vs Jumpin Joe Janella vs Lince Durado
(non-title cruiserweight match)
The stipulations were simple: If Smooth won, he would never have to face either of these two wrestlers again. If either Janella or Durado won, they would get a title shot in the future. Smooth, thinking he was, well Smooth, decided to let Janella and Durado battle it out for the first five minutes while he kept telling the fans how smart he was (insert own comment there for those of you those who have seen Smooth in person). Janella and Durado fought hard with Durado hitting Janella with a chop that referee Mike Dillon swore went right through Janella’s chest. Finally Smooth decided to enter the ring and it became a true 3 way with Durado pinning Smooth and will get a title match in the future.

Match #7
Demolition Ax and Smash vs Hellter Skelter, Sal Sincere and Julio Dinero (with Miss Michelle and Gigolo Jones) in a two out of three falls contest.

Fall #1
Hellter Skelter pinned Demolition Ax

Fall #2
Demolition Smash pinned Julio Dinero

Fall #3
Ax and Smash threw Jones on top of Skelter for the pin and the win.
