……

National Wrestling Superstars returned to the Bergenfield VFW Hall on Friday night, May 18th  before a very enthusiastic near capacity crowd. Before the show opened, Danny Demanto, Rocco Dorsey came to the ring and did a shoot on Mexican’s and WWE legends in general with Demanto screaming for a legend that was not there. Commissioner Moore apologized top the fans for an absent King Kong Bundy and promised they were working on getting someone on the same status or better to appear later that night.

Opening Bout

J-Cup finalist Minion gave a tremendous showing of himself, both mentally and physically by out-dueling loudmouth J.D. Smooth

Bout 2
Tag team

Los Diablo’s Locos, Mexico's favorite tag team had their hands full with the Japanese contingent known as the Mayaku Brothers, the Giant Kaibootsie and his younger sibling Saibootsie along with their interpreter/manager, the Hockey Goon Rocco Dorsey. Fans, especially the young ones were really into this bout as the masked Mexicans really took it to the hooded Japanese duo, but in the end, Dorsey found a bag or powder ringside, blinded the younger emaciated (obviously, it must be true…don’t drink water in Mexico or even Orlando for that matter) looking  Malave by jamming it in his face, Kaibootsie went over the win.

Third bout

NWS Junior Heavyweight title bout as another J-Cup finalist Jorge Santi took on the ever changing Gavin Quest. Quest has become more brooding and into him self of late took it to Santi in the early going. Santi, who has been showing much promise in NWS rings lately made a huge come-back and actually had the title in his grasps two to three times, but in the end, the veteran Quest won out at the 15 minute mark.

Fourth bout

This was a special Ladies Attraction featuring Boston's arrogant Amber with her manager Rocco Dorsey and bodyguard (not that she needed one) Danny Demanto facing Lady Jana (aka Kimala). This bout didn't go long as after 4-5 minutes of Jana going for finishing move after finishing move on Amber, finally got to the trio as Dorsey, Demanto and Amber all turned on her. With Demanto doing a vicio0us back-drop on the defenseless female that had the entire crowd aghast, referee Jimmy Storm called for the bell and Commissioner Gino Moore called for security to go in and break things up. At that point, a security guard went into the ring and was hastely disposed of, thrown over the top rope by Demanto and Dorsey as the vicious beat down continued, when out from the back came the Ugandan Giant and husband of Kimala, WWE legend Kamala. The crowd popped louder than new years eve when the clock strikes 12 as Kamala cleaned house. Commissioner Moore, never one not to seize the moment did a long pause consulted with his booking committee and put together a main event for later on that night of Demanto, Amber, with Manager Dorsey taking on Kimala and Kamala. The crowd ate it up.

Intermission ensured and then the fifth bout came to be as Corvis Fear, who wanted 3 introductions to make sure everybody knew who he was battled NWS newcomer Pastor George. Pastor George, truly made a magnificent showing of himself countering the more experienced Fear's moves throughout the bout, but Fear, being the whileier heal, made sure that new referee Chris Maverick was bumped and put out of commission for a minute or so. When fear saw the referee coming to, he rushed to his corner, pulled out a gimmick chain, showed it to the entire crowd, went to smash George with it, but thought twice as he threw the chain near referee Chris Maverick, took a tremendous bump inside the ring (with no help from George) and claimed that George hit him with the chain. Maverick, seeing that Fear was in much pain, called for the bell and awarded the bout to fear claiming George used the foreign object. Many of the large crowd was incensed by this turn of events whereas Commissioner Moore and the wrestling gods above set up a return grudge match for the next time NWS is in the North Jersey area between Fear and Pastor George.

Final bout of the evening: The Inter-gender tag team main event which had Danny Demato, Arrogant with Dorsey take on Kamala with Kimala. This bout had many excellent comedy spots as Demanto was screeching like a wayward siren and Amber was working the crowd for all it was worth. In fact, Demanto and Kimala were having a battle onto themselves, but at one point in the bout, Kamala came in, chopped Dorsey, decked Demanto and patty-whacked Amber. Smiles were seen all the way to the Hudson. In the end, Kamala's weight, ring savvy took it home with a victory and sent the fans home happy while Kamala sound-tracked and Kimala danced and sang in the ring, as legendary huckster Eric Simms pushed the CD's on the outside of the ring.

NWS notes on the show
