……

NWS Annual "Holiday Havoc 2007" December 28th-29th With Three Shows on the Jersey Shore Featuring The Iron Sheik, The Blue Meanie, Kevin Matthews, The Patriot & More!

The holiday time is filled with traditions... decorating the tree, shopping for gifts, traveling to visit friends and family, attending a live pro wrestling show...

Wait a minute, since when is pro wrestling a holiday tradition? Well, down on the Jersey shore, it's becoming an annual tradition for the fans of the nation's leader in family-themed pro wrestling entertainment, National Wrestling Superstars.

And that tradition continues in a little over one week from now, as NWS presents its annual "Holiday Havoc 2007" extravaganzas the weekend of December 28th-29th. And even though it's the beginning of Winter, the action will be hot enough to make it feel like it's the middle of the summer on the Jersey Shore.

Friday night December 28th, NWS returns to Long Branch, NJ as Holiday Havoc makes its traditional return to the Seashore Broadway Gym, 404 Broadway (minutes from Route 36 and the Parkway) with a 7:45pm bell time. Headlining the show will be a legend whose presence will be like Santa Claus to wrestling fans of all ages... he's a former WWE champion and hall-of-famer, and is currently collecting new fans as part of The Howard Stern Show... he's the legendary Iron Sheik, and he'll be greeting the fans that night in Long Branch, as well as maybe giving some of the younger wrestlers some expert advice. In addition to the Iron Sheik, a pair of legends from the WWE and ECW will team up, as "America's Hero" The Patriot will join forces with long-time Philadelphia favorite The Blue Meanie. They will bring some holiday cheer to the Long Branch fans by attempting to defeat the hated reigning NWS tag-team champions Ace Darling and Nicky Oceans, who are known as The Psychedelic Sissies (but insist on being called "Studs").

And in another unique matchup, a pair of NWS wrestlers will get the opportunity to do what their fellow wrestlers have dreamed of for years - get revenge on the referees. That's right, in a special Wrestlers-Against-Referees Grudge Match, The Hideous Hillbillies (Cletus & Cooter) will face off against three of NWS' popular referees in likes of S.P. Anderson & Mike "Quick Count" Dillon & Long Branch's own wrestling referee Sargeant Jimmy Storm. In a match which could possibly end up being his retirement match, the unpredictable Hyena takes on his one-time friend, and now sworn enemy from the Neptune area J.C. Rage in a no-holds-barred Long Branch Tables Match. Also on tap will be a Number-One Contender Bout where one-time NWS Regional Heavyweight Champion, Eatontown's evil T.N.T, will try to get back to his winning ways when he takes on Keansburg's battling up-and-comer Corey Havoc. In another bout of local interest, the high-flying Ocean Township native Mikey Pacifica, who has been making huge strides as of late up and down the Eastern seaboard will have a mystery partner (or maybe even multiple partners) in a battle for the vacant NWS Cruiserweight Title Belt. (NWS management has been forced to strip now-former champion Dan Rageous of the belt, and all connections to NWS, due to his personal problems affecting his reliability. We wish him well.)

Tickets for Long Branch are only $17 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors, and all seats are ringside.

-------------------------------------------------

And on Saturday December 29th, NWS heads down the parkway and over to Seaside Heights, NJ to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Hall, 100 Grant Avenue (only three blocks from the Route 37 bridge) for not one, but *TWO* huge shows.

The special 2:05pm matinee show will feature one-time ECW brawler The Equalizer taking on the unpredictable Hyena in the first-ever Seaside Heights Tables Match, plus an appearance by former WWE & WCW star "America's Hero" The Patriot. Also on the early show will be area big men standouts Cameron Shaft and Ryan Blackheart, Corrupted Youth and Wasted Youth. The Hideous Hillbillies (Cletus & Cooter) will travel up from the deep South to compete, and the strange Resin will travel up from the bowels of earth to do battle.

The night's action will get under way at 7:35pm and will include an appearance by The World Famous Wrestling Radio Clown and the unpredicatbly insane yet lovable Slayer. The Equalizer and Hyena, assuming they (and Parish Hall) survive their afternoon encounter, will have another Seaside Heights Tables Match that evening. And in another matchup that is sure to be memorable, cruiserweight standout "Stellar" Travis Blake will have his hands full as he battles the 400-pound Baghdad Bully Saddam Insane. NWS Jersey Shore Champion Nicky Oceans will team up with one of the most arrogant and anti-social figures in and out of ring J.D. Smooth, to battle a pair of yet-to-be-named hapless foes.

And NWS will continue another holiday tradition, low prices on gifts, as these potential stocking stuffer tickets are only $15, but for those who have been doubly nice this year, NWS is offering an even greater bargain on a double ticket for both shows for only $24 (that's only $12 per show).
