On Friday night, August 12, NECW returns to the Town Hall in Plainfield, CT for a great night of action.  The main event for Plainfield will be a championship match as NECW Heavyweight Champion, "Revolution" Chris Venom will defend against "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi.

Also signed for Plainfield, the NECW Tag Team Champions, The A List will defend their titles against Afterburn in a match with unique stipulations.  Lat month in Framingham, Afterburn shocked everyone by scoring a pinfall victory over the champions in a tag team elimination match.  The A List have called the victory a fluke and dismissed Afterburn as not being in their league.  The A List were so cocky and so sure they were going to beat Afterburn, that if Afterburn can last 15 minutes with the champions, they will win the titles, even if they don't pin the champions.

Also signed for Plainfield is a women's tag team challenge match.  NECW Women's Champion, Mercedes Martinez and her mysterious second, Miss Della Morte will do battle in a tag team match against Violet Flame and Natalia.  More matches will be announced for Plainfield later this week.

On Saturday night, August 13, NECW presents its 5th annual BIRTHDAY BASH at the Framingham Civic League, 214 Concord Street in Framingham.

In the main event, PRIDE will face Sabotage in a TLC2 Match - Tables, Ladders and Chairs inside a 15 foot high steel cage!  

Also just announced, also inside a cage, it will be a special War Games match! NECW Heavyweight Champion, "Revolution" Chris Venom, "Brutal" Bob Evans, "Miracle" Mike Bennett and "Big Guns" Frankie Arion will face off against the team of Michael Sain, "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion, "Powerhouse" Kevin Landry and "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi, managed by Alex Crowley.  A special stipulation has been added to this match.  If Venom's team wins, "Brutal" Bob Evans and "Miracle" Mike Bennett will get 5 minutes alone in the cage with Alex Crowley!

Also on tap for Framingham, NECW Tag Team Champions, The A List take on After burn with the same stipulations as the previous night.  NECW Women's Champion, Mercedes Martinez will defend her title in a special Fatal Four Way match against Violet Flame, Natalia and Nikki Roxx.  Miss Della Morte will be banned from the building for this match!  Plus, "Sweet" Scott Ashworth & Sonny Goodspeed collide with  D-Unit. More bouts will be announced later this week.
