“New Class Developments”

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and didn’t eat too much… like I did!  As a holiday special, we will be putting a special deal up on my website at www.dansevern.com.   We will be combining items for a low price to give to your friend or family member for the holidays.  If they are a fight fan, you may want to check it out.  Some of the items will include shirts, photos, MMA gloves, DVD’s, video’s & More.  I also wanted to send out a quick informative letter on our MMA Camp next weekend and fill you in on our new class, and bring you up to date on our regular classes:

MMA CAMP – DECEMBER 1,2,3
As expected, we have minimal numbers, so don’t fret… there will be space if you are one of those last minute type of people, such as myself.  Anyone interested in the itinerary for the three days, please email us at [email protected]  and we will send it your way.  Everyone that comes to this camp will have superb instruction as it will be a one on one type basis.

Once again helping me out on the instruction will be “Big Nasty” Paul Bowers.  He is a powerhouse on the MMA Scene who has recently fought for King of the Cage.  Bowers helped instruct during the last camp, and had a lot of positive feedback.  He will be focused more on the stand up and striking part of the camp utilizing Muay Thai – Boxing & Kickboxing skills.  I will go through takedowns, throws, clinches, lateral drops, groundwork, submissions, etc.

The total cost of the camp is $295.  This weekend, we are taking the deposit form off of the website, so if you are coming in, please inform us through the email above so we my prepare accordingly.

NEW CLASS – AMATEUR WRESTLING – DECEMBER 5th

We are beginning our Amateur Wrestling Classes next month.  The first class will be on Tuesday, December 5th from 6pm - 7pm.  We will have this instruction on every Tuesday & Thursday night during those hours.  Instruction will be done by myself and if you are interested in seeing what kind of instruction we provide, come on in on that Tuesday.  We allow everyone to have a free class to see what it's like and if their child will enjoy the atmosphere. 

The age range will be from 6 years of age up to High School.  My teaching style is to be involved 100% and teach them new and exciting things in the sport of amateur wrestling.  We will get your child ready for competition and train them how to conduct themselves physically and mentally.

REGULAR CLASSES

Youth Martial Arts: Tuesday’s & Thursday’s between 5:30 – 6:30pm.  Instruction is given by Sean Tidwell & Dan Severn.  Class is $45.00 a month with a four-month commitment.  The age range for this course is 5 – 12.

Boxing & Kickboxing classes: Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s & Thursdays between 6:30 – 8:00pm taught by local boxing champion, Andy Pratel.  Class is $60.00 a month with a four month commitment.

Mixed Martial Arts: (Evening Instruction) – Tuesday & Thursday’s from 7:00pm – 9:00pm
(Morning Instruction) – Monday & Wednesday’s from 10:00am – Noon.  This class is $60.00 a month with a four month commitment.  Instruction is done by Dan Severn and Paul Bowers.

Professional Wrestling: Monday’s & Wednesday’s (select Thursdays) – From 7:00pm to 9:00pm.  Instruction given by Dan Severn, Josh Abercrombie, Jack Thriller & Others from the pro wrestling world.  This class is $75.00 a month with a four month commitment.
