This is an absolutely loaded and important WWN Alerts. Let’s get to it….
May 9th: We call it The WWN Family for a reason. It is because we are family from you to the in ring talent to everyone who makes the events happen behind the scenes. Wayne VanDyke, who is known as Richard Delicious in ACW, needs our help. He suffered three heart attacks two weekends ago. He has been in a coma since that time. In addition to wrestling for ACW, Wayne is an invaluable part of the WWN crew. He has spent countless hours on the road, working the thankless jobs for EVOLVE, SHINE and FIP as part of our crew. He is an important part in making all these events happen. WWN is going to give all ticket profits from the May 26th FIP and May 27th Style Battle events in Ybor City, FL to help Wayne’s medical expenses. Tickets are now on sale at
TicketFly.com. They will also be available at the door for both events to avoid service charges. In full transparency, we do have expenses to cover specifically for these events with ring rental, building cost, staff, transportation and talent expense. Once those are covered, all ticket profits will go towards Wayne’s bills. We will also be taking donations at both events. We send our prayers and well wishes to Wayne. #FightWayneFight

May 9th: SHINE will have a major announcement at this Friday’s event in Ybor City, FL featuring LuFisto defending the SHINE Championship vs. Leva.

May 9th: EVOLVE is very happy to be working with Freelance Wrestling in Chicago. This partnership will now see a talent crossover. EVOLVE Tag Team Champions Chris Dickinson & Jaka put out an open contract for a title defense at the EVOLVE debut in Chicago on May 20th. It has been signed by “The Definition” Isaias Velazquez & “Marvelous” Matt Knicks from Freelance. This is going to be a tremendous weekend for the Chicago independent wrestling scene. Freelance Wrestling returns on May 19th and 20th in a special double shot showcase weekend! Freelance debuts at the Berwyn Eagles Club for a special one night only appearance on May 19th! This show will feature a spectacular Battle Royal with the winner gaining an opportunity to challenge for the Freelance Championship at their anniversary show in June! This show will also feature the return of the World’s Cutest Tag Team of Joey Ryan and Candice LeRae! Freelance teams up with RESISTANCE Pro to bring you some of the best talent in Chicago on May 20th after the EVOLVE event that afternoon! This show will be at the same venue that EVOLVE will be running that afternoon. This is a separate ticket than EVOLVE and will have a 7:30pm belltime. May 9th: The EVOLVE debut in Livonia, MI on May 21st will see a match involving wrestlers from the WWN Seminar/Tryout that afternoon. We could see a star made that night as wrestlers like Darby Allin and Jason Kincaid have earned WWN contracts after participating in a WWN Seminar/Tryout. We will also take a referee from the WWN Seminar/Tryout that day and possibly a manager for this match. This will be on the main EVOLVE 85 card making this a tremendous opportunity to be on FloSlam. There are still limited spots available in the WWN Seminar/Tryout that day with special guest Norman Smiley from NXT. Go here for all the info.
May 9th: We are very excited to announce two new EVOLVE events with two new partners! EVOLVE will finally return to Charlotte, NC on July 8th with an event at 8pm. EVOLVE will be working with PWX, who will present a card at 3pm, making this a dream day for independent wrestling fans in North Carolina. EVOLVE will then debut in Atlanta on July 9th for another double header. It will be EVOLVE at 8pm and AWE at 3pm! This will be one of the biggest days of independent wrestling that Atlanta has ever seen! Here is the venue info:
