NYWC STORMS THE ISLAND WITH TWO HUGE SHOWS
- FRIDAY, JUNE 29 & SATURDAY, JUNE 30 -
Now that NYWC Rising has come and gone, the aftereffects are already being felt in the NYWC locker room. Tony Burma's surprising turn on his longtime tag team partner, Mike Spinelli, not only led to another successful title retention by Dickie Rodz, but it has already led to a showdown that is scheduled to take place in late June. Javi-Air shocked NYWC fans by emerging from an incredible tag team contest as the new NYWC HI-FI Champion, the Angus Brothers have returned with a vengeance, Joey Matthews is back and seeking NYWC gold, and Dickie Rodz continues what is perhaps the most amazing title run in NYWC history. With so much going on at once, how can the NYWC pack so much action into June? The answer is simple... two monster shows in two days!
NYWC RAMPAGE - FRIDAY, JUNE 29th
On June 29, the New York Wrestling Connection will make its very first appearance in Blue Point, NY, located along the south shore of Long Island. This show is already promising to be a blockbuster.
In Friday's main event, Dickie Rodz will take on none other than Jerry Lynn in a one-on-one battle for the NYWC Championship! Dickie has already held onto the title for nearly a year, and incidentally, Lynn was one of the victims when Rodz won the belt. Can the New F'n Show earn another NYWC Championship reign, or will Dickie's stock continue to rise with the vanquishing of another superstar?
Also scheduled is a match between former WWE Tag Team Champion Joey Matthews (known as Joey Mercury) and former NYWC tag champ Mike Spinelli. The Angus Brothers will take on Maverick & Plazma for a chance to compete for the tag team titles, and the lovely TNA Knockout Traci Brooks will be in action!

NYWC SEVERED TIES - SATURDAY, JUNE 30th
On June 30, the NYWC will head back to its usual home at the Deer Park Community Center for NYWC Severed Ties, a show that will no doubt be brimming with excitement as the previous night's events stew in the minds of the competitors. So much will be on the line, and there's no telling how this action-packed night will unfold!
The main event will be an NYWC Championship match in which Mikey Whipwreck will fight for the title... but who will be the defending champ? The past year indicates that Dickie Rodz has a good chance of surviving June 29 with the belt around his waist, but Jerry Lynn is a fierce, experienced competitor that will present Rodz with perhaps his biggest challenge yet. No matter who faces Whipwreck, you can be sure that this match will be off the charts!
One of TNA's most famed wrestlers, and a longtime member of Team 3D, Brother Runt will also be in action on June 30! Brother Runt will be stepping into the ring against a fellow former NYWC Champion, Joey Matthews, for nothing more than pride. Papadon and Tony Burma will also be in action, as they tag against Mike Spinelli and a partner to be named... should Dickie Rodz retain the NYWC title on June 29, Spinelli will team up with Jerry Lynn, but if Rodz loses the belt, Spinelli's partner could be anybody! And TNA Knockout Traci Brooks will make another appearance here at Severed Ties, as she laces up the boots to face a fellow female opponent in the squared circle.
