NOT EVERYONE PLEASED WITH HOGAN SIGNING

……

Hi Georgie
I also attended the Hulk Hogan signing, but I had a much different experience than your other post. We arrived at 12:30pm to see the huge crowd waiting to meet Hulk. My family and I found the employees at Hall of Heroes to be very rude and unhelpful. When asked simple questions, they responded with attitude and gave no direction.

We, along with everyone in the last 25% of the line were treated much differently than everyone else. About 4:30pm, Hall of Heroes management came into the loading dock area that we were all lined up in and told us that they were bringing Hogan in to our area to finish the signing. They escorted him to their supply room where he stayed for an hour while we all waited. When questioned about the hold up, Hall of Heroes employees implied that he was signing other memorabilia for them. We became very unsettled and many people were getting angry.  While everyone before us was able to receive their autographs in the store and were able to interact and take photos with Hogan, we on the other hand were told to have our items ready and he would walk through and sign them on his way out.

At 5:30, Hulk emerged from the room and walked down the line to finish the signing. People, including myself, were very upset with this. We weren't given the same opportunity to interact and take photos that others before us were able to do. I had to quickly fumble through my memorabilia while security pushed Hogan through the line. As a result, I was unable to have my items autographed the way I wanted. I spent $460 to wait on line for over 5 hours to meet Hogan, and I was robbed of a good experience by the horrible way in which this signing was managed. This was the worst signing I've ever attended.

I will never again attend any signings held by Steiner Sports or Hall of Heroes, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

I've included a pic of Hogan walking down the line with sharpie in hand.

David, I personally think the signing went way too long.  I was informed it started at 12:30 PM, now your telling me, it was 5:30 PM when he emerged from a room to sign for the remaining fans who were left.  Five hours is too long for anyone.  I would think Hogan was probably tired by then.  I'm not making excuses for him, just saying that Hall of Heroes shouldn't have allowed that many fans to stay there for the signing.  Don't forget the signing was originally only suppose to be from 1 to 2:30 PM.  But I would say, you were "ripped off, big time for the money you spent."
But in Hogan's defense, I have to say, he has always been a very FAN FRIENDLY wrestler, "old school" is the word that comes to mind.

I remember Hogan always coming out at the Monday Night Raw tapings in Manhattan and mingling with the fans.  Always making time to come out and chat with the handicap fan waiting to meet his favorite wrestler.
