The fastest growing wrestling promotion in the southeast invaded the National Guard Armory in Wilmington North Carolina with an action packed show when UPWA rolled into town on August 9th. In the Main Event, High Definition def. the Dawsons to become the No. 1 Contenders for the UPWA Tag Team Titles. They will face the current champs Big and Sexy at the September Supershow. In other action, Xavier Rush def. UPWA Cruiserweight Champion Christopher Shane in a non title match. Shane had originally won but the match was restarted when Ace of Punk pointed out to the ref that he had cheated. Rush took advantage and rolled Shane up for the win. Mean Marc Ash def. Eric Evans. The All American Athletes def. ATL and Ace of Punk when Christopher Shane interfered in the match, paying Punk back for earlier. Beast def. Jason Beasley via pinfall. Dave Renegade def. Frank Stone. Mikal Mosley def. David Hening when the debuting Psycho Circus came to ringside and distracted both men. During the ensuing chaos, Mosley took advantage and pinned Henning for the victory.
