….

I received a good question from our friend Carlos, a little while ago:

I boldly remember the first RAW broadcast to be dated Jan. 11. 1993....
(with Yokozuna v. Koko B. Ware being the lead-off match)
So why are we celebrating in mid-December??
(or where there preliminary broadcasts before the initial 1/11/93 airing that I'm missing??)
It won't make 15 years exact till mid-January....

Does anyone have an answer, I sure don't.   [email protected]

Well Carlos, looks like you are correct.  Percy confirms your statement.

Well the WWE finally announced that Sunny will be appearing on the 15th Anniversary RAW 3 hour show.  I thought it was suppose to be a surprise, guess not.

A Battle Royal has been added to the lineup, although no word yet on who will compete.

I have heard that Gangrel will be in attendance, so I would think he might be one of the Battle Royal competitors.

Dave Meltzer just posted this on his wrestlingobserver.com site:
Details are still sketchy, but the Smackdown/ECW crew had a gigantic scare a few hours ago while in Europe.
After the show last night in Frankfurt, Germany, they were on a Lufthansa flight headed to tonight's show in Zurich, Switzerland. When they were about to land, out of nowhere a plane popped up right in the line of the landing. The pilot saw the plane and managed to get the flight back in the air at the very last moment.
They were then able to land safely. Even hours later, the crew was described as being "white as ghosts" as they got ready for today's show.
