Poughkeepsie paper has article on WWE coming to town

Our dear friend Diane Devine sent us this article on Ron Dobratz

The response to my Dancing with the Stars article has been overwhelming.  Everyone seems to agree.  It has become a popularity contest instead of a Dance contest.
What a shame. It has turned out to be a turn off.
Check out their Message Boards:  ABC.com - Message Boards  Some fans are really pissed.

Eddie Guerrero's wife Vickie and his nephew Chavo will be at ringside tomorrow for the WWE No Way Out PPV, as Randy Orton takes on Rey Mysterio for the main event spot at WrestleMania 22.  Although many in the company don't like the direction this angle has gone to due to the Eddie mentions, Vickie seems comfortable, even accepting an invitation to be a ringside for the show.

Uso’s Foundation sets charity wrestling auction:

Uso’s Foundation, Inc., of Allentown, PA, will be holding a benefit dinner and silent auction on Sunday, June 4th in Allentown, PA  Tickets are available by calling 610-435-1666 or visiting http://www.usosfoundation.org/. Proceeds of the dinner and auction will go to fund Uso’s Foundation’s programs to help under-privileged youths in the Lehigh Valley area.

Wrestling fans, collectors and historians will want to be in Allentown, Pennsylvania on June 4th.  as Afa the Wild Samoan and the Uso’s Foundation host this exciting event. The auction will feature a number of extremely rare and highly-prized items, sure to delight wrestling fans from all over the world. Some of the items that will be offered for bidding are:

Many other wrestling collectible items will be added in the weeks to come. Also there will be appearances from Super Stars and Legends of Pro - Wrestling that will be announced as they become confirmed.

The Uso’s Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 to promote brotherhood.  Among the Foundation’s principle goals are to develop young people athletically in the field of wrestling, mentally in their schoolwork, and spiritually in community work

Afa and Lynn Anoa’i founded Uso’s to help under-privileged youths who faced a bad situation in their lives and had nowhere else to go, to give them the opportunity to be successful in life.  The Foundation provides scholarships for the kids to attend the Wild Samoan Training Center free of charge, but also gives them so much more.

Through the popularity and drawing power of professional wrestling, Uso’s is able to offer the young men and women a number of marketable skills, to help them achieve their full potential.  The program teaches the basics of good nutrition, the value of sustained exercise, and the importance of  maintaining good health (i.e., drug free, smoke free, free of substance abuse).

The importance of a good academic education is stressed throughout the program and good grades are required to continue in the program.   USO’s students learn writing, promotion, photography, computer and management skills: tools that will not only help them in professional wrestling, but in the business world as well.

Seating is limited for this great event and dinner tickets can be purchased via pay pal by visiting www.usosfoundation.org and go to the link for donations.
