Tickets for the 2006 Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Rosemont Theatre go on sale on Saturday, February 25th at 10 AM Central time and 11 AM Eastern time. Tickets are going to be $50 and $80. The induction ceremony will take place on April 1st.
The only name I keep hearing is Eddie Guerrero will be inducted, which is great news.
WLRS here in Louisville just announced on the Skinny Jay and Anne Ray Show that Matt Cappotelli would be LIVE tonight at the Davis Arena in Louisville to publicly address his health situation. They even stated the WWE.com report of a brain tumor, and said "this is not a wrestling storyline."
UWF SET FOR WEEKEND SHOWS IN VIRGINIA
-One of the hottest start up promotions in recent memory is gearing up for its second set of shows this weekend in Harrisonburg and Palmyra Virginia.
The United Wrestling Federation, managed by Dave Hebner, has an incredible line up of talent for this weekends shows. The show in Harrisonburg, Virginia on Friday night will be headlined by a tag team main event featuring Team 3-D taking on NWA Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett and former WWE star and Harrisonburg native "Maven". The card also features the UWF debut of "The Man Beast" Rhino, as well as a "Hardcore" Coffin Match between "The Monster" Abyss and Sabu. BG James and Kip James, formerly the "New Age Outlaws" will also be in action. UWF Ultimate Experience tickets, which allow fans backstage prior to the show for autographs, pictures and dinner with the UWF Superstars are sold out for Harrisonburg, but plenty of ringside and general admission tickets are still available and will be sold at the door.
Saturday night, the show moves to Fluvanna High School in Palmyra, Virginia. Tickets, including Ultimate Experience tickets, are still available.
Fans can also catch UWF Superstars this Saturday at two different appearances. The NWA Tag Team Champions, Americas Most Wanted, will join Maven for an autograph session at Harrisonburg Hyundai Saturday morning from 11 am to 12 noon. Saturday from 12 noon to 1 pm, the UWF's Dave and Earl Hebner will join Rhino for an autograph session at Liberty Tax Service, 1446 E. Rio Road Suite 102 in Charlottesville.
Tickets are available at www.uwfusa.com and will be available at the door for both shows.
