News for Mid-Atlantic Legend Fanfest in Charlotte, NC.

Main events for our Saturday night and Sunday afternoon wrestling cards have just been announced for this year's Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legends Fanfest Weekend in Charlotte. And they're huge!

More than 600 pounds of muscle and braun collide on Saturday night as the stars of Impact Wrestling are featured in the main event. North Carolina native and currently one-half of the TNA World Tag Team champions Gunner will battle the Aces and Eights "Director of Chaos" DOC!

Ring of Honor Wrestling's 2012 "Match of the Year" rematch highlights our Sunday afternoon card.  

It was truly an epic battle when Canadian Michael Elgin, for the first time, challenged then-ROH World champion Davey Richards during the 2012 Wrestlemania weekend  "Showdown In The Sun" in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 24-year-old Elgin narrowly missed capturing championship gold on his first shot. It was a fight that Richards himself will tell you was one of the toughest of his wrestling career and one in which Elgin truly earned the respect of "The American Wolf."

The two will meet again in Charlotte, and on the line: pride, honor and respect!

This year's fanfest weekend features two live wrestling cards, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Our VIP "All Access" Pass includes a reserved Ringside seat for both events and early entrance, prior to non-VIPs.

General admission seating to each day's matches are included in the fanfest's Single-Day tickets. For 19 bucks a day, either day, enjoy all of the non-VIP daytime fanfest activities as well as that day's live wrestling matches.

Danny Miller might have never left his hometown of Fremont, Ohio, had it not been for his big brother.

The younger brother of Dr. Big Bill Miller, a collegiate and professional Hall of Fame grappler, Danny made the decision to turn pro in 1955. And he's never looked back. "I might have been walking behind a plow somewhere had I not got into wrestling," the jovial Miller laughs.

Miller recently marked his 81st birthday, but the memories of his days in the wrestling business are never far away.

For his achievements in the wrestling business, specifically his contributions in the Crockett territory during the '70s and '80s, Miller will be inducted into the Class of 2013 Hall of Heroes at the Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legends Fanfest Weekend August 1-4 in Charlotte. "It's a wonderful honor," says Miller. "I really look forward to seeing my old friends and fans. It's going to be pretty exciting."

The Union Little League will sponsor a benefit fundraiser with popular northeast pro wrestling promotion Funkdafied Wrestling Federation on Friday night June 21st at 7:45pm at the Union, NJ Elks Lodge (281 Chestnut Street, in the Five Points Section, minutes from the Parkway).

Making a rare tri-state area appearance as part of the much-anticipated return to the Union area will be "The Greatest WWE Intercontinental Champion Of All Time" (it's true, just ask him), the one and only Honky Tonk Man!
