Ring of Honor Wrestling Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Sinclair Broadcasting Group, is looking to partner with Non-profit organizations in the New Jersey area in anticipation of our huge live event coming to the Rahway Recreational Center in Rahway, NJ on 10/6.

For those unfamiliar, Ring of Honor Wrestling is a professional wrestling company based out of the greater Baltimore area, that has been in operation for over ten years. In that time, ROH has toured the United States, Canada, Japan, and the UK, drawn hundreds of thousands of fans to our live events over the years, been seen on television on both HDNet and currently on SBG-owned stations across the country, and broadcast on both traditional pay-per-view as well as trailblazed the field of internet PPV broadcasting.

We are looking for local youth groups, sports teams, and other non-profit organizations in the NJ area who are looking to fundraise for their respective groups. World’s Best Wrestling President Of Talent Relations, “Loony” Mike Horton is pleased to announce the signing of former WWF (WWE) tag team champion Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake for WBW: Quest For The Gold, Saturday Oct. 6^th in Sardinia, Ohio.

Brutus is one of pro wrestling’s most famous legends having competed at WrestleMania and holding the WWF’s tag team title with Greg “The Hammer” Valentine.

WBW: Quest For The Gold will be held on Saturday October 6, 2012. The event will be held at 116 College Ave in the Chad D.Heckler Building gymnasium (the old school gym).

The summer-long tournament culminates on Saturday night August 25th as the final four compete in two semi-final round matches with the winners coming back later in the night to face off in the tournament finals for the cup! This is always a special night for CWF Mid-Atlantic and this year we may have the hungriest, most driven final four in tournament history! Weaver Cup Tournament Semi-Finals:

Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champ RAY KANDRACK
This is the first time in the final four for both. Kandrack is on the streak of a lifetime after capturing the Mid-Atlantic Championship last month and sending KC McKnight packing for Florida with a loss two weeks ago. But Richards has never looked more focused. His in-ring mechanics have never looked sharper. And these two know each other extremely well after a year-long blood feud that saw both make trips to the hospital. The winner moves on to the tournament finals and the loser goes home with nothing. The stakes could not be higher in these two semi-final matches!

VS. The Aftermath's TREVOR LEE
Winner advances to the tournament finals in the main event! No one has ever won the tournament twice and Royal has promised he will be the first. Trevor needs a big win to try and stay in the Aftermath's good graces, as front man William Cross has given Lee approximately one month to win a championship or be booted out! These two dedicated, hungry young athletes could steal the show as they attempt to leave the trophy.

The two winners face off in the main event, the tournament finals where the winner will have his name etched on that prestigious trophy forever. All four have different reasons for needing and wanting this honor but only one can achieve it. Who wants it the most, who will leave it all in the ring for a moment of supreme glory.

It breaks down like this. Trevor Lee MUST WIN if he hopes to stay in the Aftermath's good graces and not be booted out of the group by William Cross. Arik Royal MUST WIN to live up to his potential and capture the biggest prize of all. Nick Richards MUST WIN to take the next step in his career and prove himself a major player. Ray Kandrack MUST WIN or else the Mid-Atlantic Champion will have be bested by a potential challenger and his claim to the title will be questionable. It all goes down THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!

The Killbillies and the Aftermath are at war after William Cross tried to recruit the country boys and was turned down! The Aftermath's prized piece of talent collides with half of the tag-team champs on August 25th!

The monstrous Mecha has been on a path of destruction since stealing the mask of the Kamakazi Kid last month. But the gutsy and resilient Matt Smith just might be indestructible. If ever there was a David vs. Goalith match-up this is it!

JASON MILLER has promised to call out Coach Gemini's ALL STARS after they put him on the shelf for a month. Coach Gemini has not yet answered the challenge but Miller says he will take on the entire group by himself if he has to!
