World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct 31, 2008 -- World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:WWE) today declared the Company's regular quarterly dividend of $0.36 per share on its Class A shares of common stock. As previously announced, members of the McMahon family have waived $0.12 per share of the dividends. As a result, all Class A and Class B shares owned by the McMahon family will instead receive dividends in the amount of $0.24 per share. The record date for the dividend will be December 15, 2008, and the payment date will be December 26, 2008.

With the ups and downs of the stock market, good news today for the JAKKS, their stocks are up $1.81 to $22.37, which is 8.80%.   WWE is up 24 cents to $14.24, which is 1.71%.

Although advertised as the 800th Monday Night RAW this coming Monday, it will actually be the show's 806th showing. The show is now being called the 800th episode "celebration."

WWE Films' 12 Rounds starring John Cena will be released in theaters on March 12 or 13, 2009.
      Cena starred in the company's most successful feature to date, "The Marine."
