This past Saturday night, during their panel discussion at the San Diego Comic Con, Action Lab Entertainment (www.actionlabcomics.com) announced that they would be publishing a new comic book series by writer Anthony Ruttgaizer (bka independent wrestler/promoter Kingdom James). The series entitled "The F1rst Hero" will debut later this year from Ruttgaizer, artist Phillip Sevy and cover artist Lee Moder (Shinku, Wonder Woman, Stars And S.T.R.I.P.E.).

Holy Trinity Church In Long Branch, New Jersey Host Wrestling Fundraiser For Valerie Fund On Friday, August 9th
All-star pro wrestling returns to the Long Branch, NJ area on Friday night August 9th at 7:45pm, as popular northeast pro wrestling promotion Funkdafied Wrestling Federation returns to the Holy Trinity Church (408 Prospect Street, just off Broadway, minutes from Route and the Parkway), with partial proceeds to benefit The Valerie Fund. The Valerie Fund's mission is to provide support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders. Thanks to wrestler Ryan Torok, the FwF and the great wrestling fans in the area who will come out and show their support.
Headlining this much-anticipated return to Long Branch will be a pair of TV wrestling stars, in the form of Impact Wrestling star "Jersey Shore" Robbie E, and former ECW hardcore icon John "Balls" Mahoney! Plus this show will feature a "Long Branch Doors, Ladders & Chairs Match" for the FWF Cruiserweight Title where the fans will pick the challengers, and all of your favorite FWF stars including FWF Heavyweight Champion The Atomic Dog, FWF Tag-Team Champions The 2 Rude Dudes ("Corrupted" Corey Havoc & "Rampage" Rogers), Big Jeff Noyze, "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, T.N.T, and more.
