Here is an email I received on the Mick Foley signing at Bookends. Sounds like this signing was VERY well done. Kudos:
Hi Georgiann:
Just wanted to drop you a note re: the Mick Foley book signing at Bookends in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
I arrived around 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00 signing. There were about 30 - 40 people already there. The bookstore set up seats in the bottom level of the store for everyone to wait until Mick arrived (much better then standing on a line).
Mick arrived shortly after 7:00 p.m. There was great energy from the room when he arrived. He gave about a 25- 30 minute opening talk about the book and answered about 7-10 questions, in a q and a. He then started the book signing. He signed not only the book, but also anything else you put in front of him, action figures, magazines, books, 8x10s, whatever. He also happily posed for pictures with anyone who wanted. He was awesome.
Props to Mick and also to Bookends for putting together such a smooth and fan friendly signing. A lot of times people won't sign other items or pose for pictures. Mick and Bookends were great. I will definitely attend another signing at their location.
There was a very impressive turnout for Mick.
