NWA North American Tag-team Title Match:

Brandon K & Scottie Gash (ch)  vs  Ashton Amherst & Patrick Hayes

This huge title match already has a ton of drama in it as the challengers for the titles are at major odds and will face one another for the NWA-East Heavyweight Title at Burgh Brawl 14 on Saturday, April 10th. Current NWA-East Heavyweight Champion Ashton Amherst has had a deathgrip on the title since August of last year with great help from his other Team Mega partners James Ross and his partner for this matchup; Patrick Hayes.

However, Hayes is the man who won the 'Rankings Runble Match' outlasting 8 other top ranked competitors to secure a shot at Ashton's Heavyweight Title at Burgh Brawl 14. After the match, Hayes and Ashton exchanged heated words for all in the arena to see. Hayes exited to the fans cheers for the first time in his NWA-East career and proclaimed that he would be the man to finally shut Ashton up when he leaves him "Hazed and Confused" and walks out of Burgh Brawl 14 the new champion.

Now, these two men need to prove they are on the same page to capture the titles currently around the waists of K and Gash. This could prove to be a really tall order after witnessing what took place two weeks ago. Hayes and Ashton are a very accomplished team and are indeed champions together outside of the NWA-East and could very well win the precious tag-team titles on Saturday, but not with the major tension between the two men. It has become so bad between the two men that others outside the promotion are very nervous about the situation.

Brandon K and Scottie Gash, on the other hand, are absolutely on the same page and have become even hotter as team in recent weeks than they had before, which is a scary proposition. If there is a kink in the armor of the champions it would have to be the third member of Team Mega.... James Ross. Ross has a match signed against Brandon K at Burgh Brawl 14 and has the added stipulation that if K touches him at any point before their match, then K must join Team Mega. Ross has used this to his fullest advantage by provoking and attacking K every chance he gets. Ross could be the man that turns the tables in this one.

On top of that, The Hansen Brothers attacked K and Gash at the last event with Crusher, a former NWA North American Tag-Team Champion with K, making a challenge for the titles at Burgh Brawl 14. This challenge was later accepted. Now, Crusher is smart enough to know that if the champions lose the titles this show, then there is no title shot at Burgh Brawl 14. So, how will The Hansen Brother figure into this match as well? or will they?

Can K and Gash continue to roll into Burgh Brawl 14 where they are scheduled to face the Hansen Borthers for the titles?  Or, will Team Mega stay on the same page and win the titles only to face each other for Ashton's Heavyweight Title at Burgh Brawl 14?

NWA-East Three Rivers Title Match

Ryan Mitchell (ch) vs Chris LeRusso

Ryan Mitchell is riding a huge wave of momentum heading into this match as, since the beginning of 2010, he has won The Golden Ticket Battle Royal which gives him a shot at every title in the promotion, then won the Three Rivers Title, and then defeated current NWA -East Heavywieght Champion Ashton Amherst two weeks ago in the middle of the ring in a non-title match.

Now Mitchell is ready to face off against a man that has become totally out of control in recent shows in Chris LeRusso. LeRusso has been using a railroad spike on his opponents with deadly results and there is no reason to beleive he wont use it to win the title on Saturday night.

Mitchell has stated that he wishes to have micrphone time on Saturday to address something personal about his career, so that begs the question of what exaclty is this about and will Mitchell be focused on the task at hand which is defending his title successfully. Is Mitchell injured? Or is there something more to this? One thing is for sure, Chris LeRusso will exploit it no matter what it is.

LeRusso has been riding a fast track of violence and total disregard for human safety and has become a very dangerous man. he does have a large vendetta against one Troy Lords and this too could factor into the title match. However, the biggest factor will probably be the aforementioned railroad spike. If LeRusso is able to use it without being caught, the Three Rivers Title will be his once again.

James Ross  vs  Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor made the challenge for this match as he wishes to gain a measure of revenge for his longtime friend and mentor Brandon K as it has been Ross who has a no-touch clause on K leading to their showdown at Burgh Brawl 14. Ross has used this to his benefit many times already and Taylor has had enough as he has vowed to teach Ross a lesson in respect.

Ross has really come into his own in the ring in recent months and has become even more obnoxious than before, if that is possible. Ross wants to embarrass K to further his own career and to be the man who finally gets the better of one of the most successful wrestlers this promotion has ever seen in it's 15 plus year existence.

Meanwhile, Chris Taylor, the longest reigning NWA-East Heavyweight Champion ever, will be looking to not only teach Ross some respect, but to get himself back on track after several near misses on chances to get some gold around his waist once again. It has now been 2 1/2 years since he won the Heavyweight Title and holding in grand fashion and it has become more and more difficult for him to get that elusive second title reign. It is almost like Taylor needs to win this match just to keep major frustration from setting in.

NWA-East Tag-Team Title Match

Robert Parker Williams & Ryan Reign (ch)  vs  Criss Crossfire & Plato Merimac

Well, it appears the champions are at it again as they seek to capitalize off of the inexperience of two young wrestlers and a team that has never tagged before in Crossfire and Merimac.

 Reign and Williams scored a huge win last show against longtime fan favorites JB Destiny and Big Poppa Gator, but not without hte help of powder in the eyes. The only reason they took the match was because they thought JB didnt have a partner, but he did. Two shows ago, the champions decided to defend their titles against two men who were laid out in Apollyon and Travis Fame(who never teamed before either). And now they will face the very inexperienced team of Crossfire and Merimac whose only teaming of one another came in the form of Crossfire helping Merimac to the lockeroom after Shirley Doe attacked him. The champions are clearly looking to look as dominate as possible without actually facing anyone fairly or rated at the top of the list. It is a shame as the champions really are a good team.

On the other hand, Criss Crossfire hasnt won a match in the promotion in months and only has two victories in his 1 year career in the NWA-East. Plato Merimac has exactly 3 matches under his belt in his wrestling career. On paper, this looks like a massacre waiting to happen, but there could something to the biggest underdog team to ever set foot in a NWA-East ring. There are no expectations and there is no pressure for these two men. Plus ad in the fact that virtually everyone rights off these two young men and now you have a team that could be very, very dangerous as when all bets are off, that is when some people perform at their best. With no expectations at all,  these two major underdogs could capture the fans' hearts and prove to be the best move either of these two have done to this point. Plus, these are two smaller wrestlers who have speed, agility, and some aerial moves in their arsenal and that combo could be just what the doctor ordered.

Jon Burton  vs  Tony Hansen

Jon Burton continues his self proclaimed "Just Believe It" tour as he attempts to work his way through the roster to rise through the rankings and eventually win the NWA-East Heavyweight Title. Thus far, Burton has gone through both Plato Merimac and Criss Crossfire in less than five minutes each. Burton has looked focused and determined in the ring and has to be taken very seriously in his quest.

Jon Burton's next step in his climb will come in the form of a 6'4 350lb rookie and little brother to a former NWA National and North American Tag-Team Champion; Tony Hansen. Hansen has limited experience, but will easily be the biggest test to Burton since he undertook this test. Hansen also has the added advantage of having his older brother Crusher Hansen be the referee for this match.

Now will Burton be able to continue his climb up the rankings? Or, will the numbers be too great for him and Tony Hansen will score the biggest vitory of his young career?

Stryder  vs  Dash Bennett

The red hot newcomer Stryder will face of against an irritated and ego bruised Dash Bennett, which makes Dash extremely deadly coming into this match.

Dash is fresh off of saying "I Quit" to his bitter enemy CJ Sensation in thier big match and will be angry and ready to prove a point and maybe even be looking to injure someone. Dash saw his match against CJ as a way to entrench himself into the Heavyweight Title scene, but came up short and now will have to go back to the drawing board heading into Burgh Brawl 14. Stryder could be a statement match for Dash and he knows it.

Stryder has become popular very quickly in the NWA-East and clearly has the fans behind him. He has been impressive in his first two matches in the promotion and could put himself into title contention by defeating a man with the track record Dash Bennett has. Stryder will have to be careful of Dash's manager Stacy Hunter as she has proved to be the perfect compliment to Dash and will not hesitate to become involved in a match.

Will Dash make a statement in this match? Or, will Stryder place himself into title contention immediately?

Burgh Brawl 14 High Stakes Match:

(Loser enters Burgh Brawl 14 first, winner enters last)

Jason Cage  vs  CJ Sensation

In a battle of two fan favorites, CJ Sensation and Jason Cage will square off with 'High Stakes' on the line. One man will be able to enter Burgh Brawl 14 last and hold a huge advantage in winning the big match and secure a shot at the Heavyweight Title, while one man will have to enter Burgh Brawl 14 first and have to go through every single person in the lockeroom to get the win.

 CJ is coming off a major win in defeating his longtime enemy Dash Bennett by making him say "I Quit" in their match and has also secured a Three Rivers Title shot at Burgh Brawl 14  against the winner of the LeRuso/Mitchell match by lasting until second in the Rankings Rumble Match last show. Now he can continue his momentum by secruing the last draw in Burgh Brawl 14.

Cage has also been rding a hot hand since losing the Brass KnucklesTitle as he has come within a second of winning the Heavyweight Title two shows ago and the NWA North American Tag-Team Titles last show. Now he has a chance to be the last draw in Burgh Brawl 14 and thus be that much closer to gaining another shot at the NWA-East Heavyweight Title. All he has to do is stop the momentum train of CJ Sensation.

Shirley Doe  vs  Troy Lords

Shirley Doe wants Mad Mike and Mad Mike wants Shirley Doe, but Mike will not be at the event this time as a personal emergency has taken place. Instead, Doe will face Troy Lords and has said that he will do Chris LeRusso a favor and end Lords' career in the name of Mad Mike. Doe has really gone over the edge as of late as he is focused on Mad Mike and only Mad Mike even leaving Mike laid out four weeks ago like Mike has never been laid out before. Mike received a measure of revenge two week ago as he attacked Doe and and left him laying. Now Doe thinks everyone he faces is Mad MIke as he even attacked his own student Plato Merimac last show thinking it is Mad Mike. These Two men's paths will cross at Burgh Brawl 14, but before then Doe wants Mike's partner of late in Troy Lords.

Troy Lords wants his hands on Chris LeRusso in a one on one match in the worst way, but will have to wait as LeRusso is scheduled to wrestle for the Three Rivers Title. Troy is the one who challenged Doe to this match as he wants a test to see how violent he is willing to go when it come time to face LeRusso once and for all. He will get it in the madman Doe. This is not the first time these two have faced on another as they tore each other apart in other places in the past. Now fans of the NWA-East will get to see these two tear each other apart this Saturday night!!

Two big tag-team matches in the red hot tag-team division:

JB Destiny & Big Poppa Gator  vs  Sean Dahmer & Payton Graham

Crusher Hansen & Joe Integra  vs  BLue Dragon & Piston Wiley

 Two big tag-team matches in the now red hot tag-team division will also take place as the reunited veteran team of JB Destiny and Big Poppa Gator bring back memories of yesteryear and past glories as they will face the rough and brawling team of Sean Dahmer and Payton Graham. Both teams will brawl and both teams want a shot at the tag-team titles at Burgh Brawl 14. A win by either team could give them that shot.

Also, Crusher Hansen will team with his longtime director of Camp Crusher Security Joe Integra as they face off against the new team of Blue Dragon and Piston Wiley. This match was setup at the last event as a long running verbal war has been going between Wiley and Integra dating to Integra's wrestling days and Wiley's refereeing days. In fact, the stipulation to this match is if Wiley/Dragon lose, then Wiley must go back to refereeing. But, if Integra/Hansen lose then Integra must publicly apologoze to Wiley and admit that Wiley id the better man. Knowing Integra, this would be a huge blow to his large ego.

SHHHHH !!!!  Special PWX Fan Club Only Backstage Rumors!!!

 Last time we said that Team Mega was is disarray and that became evident with the Patrick Hayes/Ashton Amherst publicly heated exchange at the end of the last show. Also, you heard it here first that Devin Devine has taken his belt and gone home as Stacy Hunter informed everyone last show that Devin and her agreed that Devin should take the Brass Knuckles Title and exit the promotion with it so that the NWA-East loses a decade old title from their ranks as Devin has effectively taken the title hostage.

 We still hear that a former fan favorite will make his return at Burgh Brawl 14

 We hear that BC Steele could be heading for trouble within his ranks of The Hansen Brothers and the tag-team Champions if he does what he is seeking to do for Burgh Brawl 14

 Is Chris Taylor thinking about taking time off again with his recent just misses on title matches?

 Finally, we hear that the Hayes/ Amherst thing is legit and there is no trickery taking place here as both men had to be separated in the lockeroom after the last event. Team Mega is in trouble.
