Thank you for your recent enquiry, below you will find the address of our main training facility and some very basic information on training, male and female trainees are permitted to attend training sessions and training camps, there are no minimum weight requirements, beginners are welcome.

Hammerlock School of Wrestling Specialises in Professional Wrestling and Submission Wrestling Styles and was probably the first ever official school of professional wrestling in the UK.

Weekly Saturday Training Sessions 

NWA (UK) Hammerlock Wrestling regular weekly Pro Wrestling Training sessions for male and female trainees over the minimum age of 12 years old at our main training centre in Ashford, Kent, every Saturday at:

Please enter via back door, please ring bell on right hand wall if door not open, you will find us situated just up the stairs in the sports hall. 

Amongst the facilities available are a brand new show quality wrestling ring, also available is a large matted area, and a 8ft x 6ft crash mat etc. 

 We are open every Saturday from 12 noon to 5.00pm, during these times you can train as much or as little as you wish at a level suitable to you, under fully qualified and insured instruction.

Your First Saturday Training Session is FREE

After your first free session the cost per day per person is £5 for trainees under 16 years of age & £10 per day per person for trainees of 16 years of age and above. 

There is no need to book for Saturday sessions

The facility is right in the town centre, Ashford International train station is nearby, you will find the entrance to the training facility at the rear of the building which backs on to the County Square shopping centre, we are upstairs in the sports hall. 

Due to the varied experience and qualifications of our coaches and instructors we are in a position to instruct much more than various styles of professional wrestling, we can if required also cover several other types of wrestling such as submission wrestling, various martial arts, weight training and bodybuilding, we have over a period of time developed a proven track record for producing some of the best wrestling talent in the country today, in addition to this there have been many tremendous achievements made by our some of our wrestlers both here and internationally in such places as Japan and the USA. 

We have Coaches and Instructors who are fully qualified by The I.B.F, The A.M.A, The B.A.W.A, The N.A.B.B.A and who have been checked and cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau & holds an enhanced disclosure certificate, we have public liability and professional indemnity insurance cover. 

One Day Introductory Course

Saturday 2^nd February 2008 at 10am – until 5pm

This course is ideal for beginners, the main coach for the course will be Andre Baker who is a fully qualified, registered and insured coach with many years of varied wrestling and martial arts experience; he is also fully qualified by the N.A.B.B.A as a body building instructor.

Andre will be assisted by various experienced and prominent members of the NWA-UK Hammerlock team such as the likes of former NWA United Kingdom heavyweight champion "Vigilante" Johnny Moss, Jon Ryan, Psycho Steve, Zach Sabre Jnr, Danny Garnell, Paul Tracey or one of our many other experienced wrestlers.

Three-Day Training Camp

We are pleased to announce the details of the next three-day training camp.

 The dates are:

Thursday 28^th of February at 12 noon until - Saturday 1st March at 5pm  

The camp will be held at:

The Sports Hall, The Centre Piece  Ashford, Kent. TN231BA UK 

The main coach for the course will be Andre Baker who is a fully qualified, registered and insured coach with many years of varied wrestling and martial arts experience, he is also fully qualified by the N.A.B.B.A as a bodybuilding instructor.

Andre will be assisted by various experienced and prominent members of the NWA-UK Hammerlock team such as the likes of former NWA United Kingdom heavyweight champion "Vigilante" Johnny Moss, Jon Ryan, Psycho Steve, Zach Sabre Jnr, Danny Garnell, Paul Tracey or one of our many other experienced wrestlers.

During the course we mainly cover Professional wrestling although we can cover various other styles of wrestling and Martial Arts if required, we will as always be on the look out to develop potential new talent from the trainee's in attendance at the camp.

We can also offer to anyone interested a ring wrestling grading with an approved syllabus at the end of the week.

Additionally at the end of the week trainees will put together matches during training that they will perform along with promotional interviews that will be recorded and put on to DVD's for those that want a copy.

After a self imposed break/scale down from our very successful schedule of live events we are to embark on a new -series of events from October 2007, in fact we intend to hold a live event on the last of this camp.

Everyone who attends the whole of the camp will get the opportunity to be on this show in front of a live audience**

The show will be held at the centre piece which holds around 150 people which is ideal for the purpose of show casing new talent in such a situation as this, the show will be in the evening and will be advertised locally to the public, due to our strong following in Ashford we expect a sell out live event so if you have any members of family or friends who wish to attend to watch you on the show we would advise you to purchase tickets from us in advance to avoid disappointment on the evening.

The Live Event will be filmed & DVD's will be available to you

The total cost of the camp is £75 without accommodation or £125 with accommodation (Thursday & Friday nights only).

14^th Annual Summer Wrestling Training Camp 2008 

In addition to our regular Saturday wrestling training, we have for the last thirteen years held an annual professional wrestling training summer camp. These camps are always a great success with a good attendance.

This will be the 14th Annual Hammerlock wrestling training summer camp, the camp will run over a one week period In addition to the regular facilities offered  such as a wrestling ring, mats etc it will also  offer a permanently sited camera for recording  training so that trainees can watch their progress in the TV, DVD & video area provided.

Monday 11^th of August at 12 noon - Saturday 16th of August at 5pm

The main coach for the course will be Andre Baker who is a fully qualified, registered and insured coach with many years of varied wrestling and martial arts experience; he is also fully qualified N.A.B.B.A Bodybuilding instructor. 

Andre will be assisted by various experienced and prominent members of the NWA ­UK Hammerlock team such as the likes of former NWA United Kingdom heavyweight champion Vigilante Johnny Moss, Jon Ryan & Danny Garnell & many more all of whom will be fully qualified, registered and insured.

During the course we mainly cover Professional wrestling although we can cover various other styles of wrestling and Martial Arts if required, 

We will as always be on the look out to develop potential new talent from the trainee's in attendance at the camp.

We can also offer to anyone who is interested a ring wrestling grading with an approved syllabus at the end of the week.

Starting trainee's on live events is something we have been able to do on some of our camps in the past, please bear in mind that some very good talent has discovered on some of our previous summer camps, for example Johnny Moss who is now making a great name for himself both here and in America. 

We hope as usual to have a surprise guest or two, at previous years camps these guests have included Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Sky TV's NFL presenter Nick Halling & former Mr Universe Shaun Davis to name but a few.

At the end of the week trainees will put together matches during training that they will perform along with promotional interviews that will be recorded & edited together and put on to DVD's for those that want a copy.
