National Wrestling Superstars
Hits New Jersey (Edison) And
Pennsylvania (Tower City) This Weekend
April 17-18 With Two Shows Headlined By
WWE & ECW Alumni Balls Mahoney & Snitsky
National Wrestling Superstars presents a pair of mega shows this weekend April 17th-18th in central Jersey and central Pennsylvania.
Friday night April 17th, NWS returns to Edison, NJ's Herbert Hoover Middle School, 174 Jackson Avenue (just off Amboy Avenue, minutes from the Parkway, Turnpike, and Routes 1 and 287) with a 7:45pm bell time.
Fans will be on the edge of their seats (but are warned not to stray from their seats) for the main event, which will pit Jersey native and ECW original (and there is truly no one like him) John "Balls" Mahoney against the recent star of WWE RAW TV, the snarling, demented Snitsky, in a "Loser Gets Put Through A Door Match". NWS isn't saying what kind of door, or where it will be, so be prepared for anything to happen.
Also in the category of "anything goes", there will be a no-holds-barred Bunkhouse Brawl between NWS Jersey Shore Champion "Myke" G.Q." Quest and his rival of late, the evil Indian warrior Draven, and Edison will also see the NWS debut of the massive tag-team known only as The Nigerian Nightmares. Also, Chikara Wrestling standout Fright-Mare will challenge another NWS mainstay in Nicky Oceans, and popular area favorites Jack Spade & Nate Mustang will team together to battle J.D. Smoothie & Soul Assassin #1. All this makes for a night you don't want to miss, and with tickets at the bargain-basement price of only $18 for adults and $16 for kids and seniors, no one in the family has to miss it.
Saturday night April 18th, NWS makes its annual trek to Tower City, PA and the Williams Valley High School, 10330 Route 209, for a 7:35pm bell time.
Along with an encore appearances by Balls Mahoney & Snitsky, another former WWE (and WCW) TV star will be part of the action in Tower City, as "America's Hero" The Patriot faces perhaps his greatest challenge in a long time against the wild man from Borneo, King Nagumbo.
And it wouldn't be a wrestling show in Tower City without an appearance from everybody's local high-flying favorites Aaron Arbo & Unbreakable Andy as they team up to battle a pair of Northeast wrestling veterans in Nicky Oceans & Devon Moore. All four of these superstars will also be part of prestigious 2009 Jersey J-Cup tournament in central New Jersey in May. Plus the fans will witness the area debut of Mexico's Manuel Manny Moore and Justice Hall. Tickets for this annual spectacular are only $18 for reserved ringside seats and $15 for bleacher seats.
Tickets are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704
All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Remaining seats, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
