Former NWA Legend Ox Baker, Former ECW Hardcore Icons Raven & Justin Credible, And Recent WWE Smackdown Diva Cherry To Headline NWS Double-Shot This Weekend 10/3-10/4

As the Fall season (and the weather that goes with it) kicks in, so does National Wrestling Superstars' Fall 2008 schedule. And NWS is doing that in their usual style - giving the fans a double dose of action they won't find anywhere else this coming weekend of October 3rd-4th.

What the fans will find is TV wrestling legend and co-star to Kurt Russell in "Escape From New York", not to mention the originator of the deadly Heart Punch, Ox Baker, making a very rare New Jersey appearance, along with likes of a pair of former ECW hardcore icons in the form of Raven and Justin Credible.

Friday night October 3rd, NWS returns to the Sayreville, NJ Knights Of Columbus Hall (775 Washington Avenue in the Parlin section, minutes from Route 9 and the Parkway), beginning at 7:45pm. In addition to Raven and Ox Baker, also taking center stage that night will be an NWS Tag-Team Title match, as Josh Daniels & Damian Adams, two of the top pros on the wrestling circuit, will team together to battle the current tag champions Motions And Oceans ("Mr. Motion" Shane Taylor & Nicky Oceans). Also seeing action will be luchador Antonio Malave, tough guy Corey Havoc, NWS Cruiserweight Champion and Delaware loudmouth J.D. Smoothie, high flyer Jumping Joey Janella, and local area favorites like Bobby Piper, Zack Novak, the crazed Slayer, Ryan Rumble and much more, including a special appearance by veteran brute Low Life Louie who will also don the tights for the evening's festivities.

Tickets are only $19 for adults and $16 for kids and seniors.

Saturday night October 4th, NWS makes its long-awaited return to its favorite Jersey Shore jaunt, the always sold out Brick, NJ Elks Lodge (2491 Hooper Avenue, minutes from Route 70 and the Parkway), with a 7:35pm bell time. Besides encore appearances by Raven and Ox Baker, and and an exclusive appearance by Justin Credible (who will be challenging his former fellow ECW'er Raven in a showdown not to be missed), there will be titles galore on the line, such as NWS Jersey Shore Champion Rhett "The Threat" Titus taking on former NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion Mike "G.Q." Quest, and NWS will revive the aforementioned Junior Heavyweight Title with a bout to crown a new champion, which will feature former Jersey Shore Champion Nicky Oceans. There will also be a monumental ladies showdown, as former ECW Women's Champion (and current WSU Champion) Angel Orsini will take on the popular former WWE Smackdown diva, the roller-skating Cherry. All this plus local favories such as the high-flying Mikey Pacifica, Corrupted Youth, the laughing Hyena, tough guy A.C. Kewl, and the insane Wrestling Hillbillies.
