National Wrestling Superstars To Kick Off 2010 With Three-Show Blitz Weekend January 29-31 In New Jersey & Delaware Featuring Former WWE Star Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson, Plus Other WWE Alums Including The Giant Silva & The Patriot & Sal Sincere, Indy Sensations The Nigerian Nightmares & More
After an extended holiday break, NWS will make up for lost time by kicking off 2010 in style with a three-show weekend Friday & Saturday & Sunday January 29th-31st in their two most popular New Jersey venues, and their Delaware affiliate venue.
Friday night January 29th, NWS returns to their central Jersey hot spot, the Manville, NJ VFW Hall (600 Washington Avenue, minutes from Routes 28 and I-287) with a 7:45pm bell time. NWS will ring in the new year with none other than Ken Anderson, better known as recent WWE TV star Mr. Kennedy (yes, Kennedy), who will be making his first ever appearance with NWS and his first local appearance in New Jersey. Also on the bill, in a return grudge match, former WWE & WCW star "America's Hero" The Patriot will team up with a to-date mystery partner to take on ominous and undefeated 800+ pound duo of The Nigerian Nightmares. Plus, Manville will play hots to a one-of-a-kind Coffins-Tables-And-Doors Match, and much more. Ticket prices for Manville are still the same as 2008 and 2009, only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors, and are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.
Saturday night January 30th, NWS heads down to the Jersey Shore and their favorite venue the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge (2491 Hooper Avenue, minutes from The Parkway, Route 70, and the Brick Plaza) with a 7:35pm bell time. In addition to an encore appearance by Mr. Kennedy, the The Nigerian Nightmares will also be in Brick and will take on a duo as arrogant as their opponents are large, former WWE star Salvatore Sincere and former WWE developmental protégé "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews, with a special guest enforcer referee, former ECW brawler The Equalizer. Also, former NWS Heavyweight Champion Hasheem "Chemical" Ali has issued an Open Challenge and will take on any comer from the NWS locker room that night. All this plus much more. Tickets have remained at the bargain price of only $20 for adults and $18 for kids and seniors, and with the Elks Lodge almost always selling out, make sure you get yours early. Tickets are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.
Sunday afternoon January 31st, NWS travels even further south to Christiana, DE to join up with their Delaware affiliate Funkdafied Wrestling Federation for "Funky New Years 2010" at the Christiana Fire Company Hall (2 East Main Street, at Route 7, minutes from I-95/295/495 and the Delaware Memorial Bridge), with a 3:30pm bell time. Headlining that show will be the seven-foot-seven 400+ pound former WWE Oddity The Giant Silva, as he takes on not just one, or two, or even three, but *FOUR* other wrestlers in a unique "Gullivers Travels Match". The undefeated Nigerian Nightmares will also be on the card, along with "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smooth, the nearly 500 pounds of fun in Dr. Ruthless, Ruff Ryder, former ECW star Wild Bill Wilde, and much more. Tickets are available in advance for only $15 for ringside seats and $10 for general admission by calling the FWF box office at (302) 420-7287.
